Im not a ST holder due to the fact I can't guarentee I will be able to make it to most games.

But Man City is very much on the card with my dad, but I have a few questions.

    1. Will I be able to purchase Tickets online with a ST?
    2. I know a few people who have ST's and was wondering if I could buy with theirs.
    3. Will there be a limit on amount of tickets a ST holder can buy
    4. If you can order online, Is there some sort of Serial Number on ST's you need.

Sorry for the stupid questions, but I've always normally bought my tickets on the day or a relative/friend has got them.

    Thanks in advance

These are good questions. In answer to Jamie:

    1. Yes.
    2. Yes, probably.
    3. Normally it's 3 tickets per book. (1+2 extra)
    4. That's exactly how it works. All of the books are numbered. As far as I can tell though, the Liberty's IT centre is running on a 486 with 124k RAM...

I also have a few questions that are similar.

    1. How far in advance of the games do tickets go on sale?
I have a season ticket so I'm not used to buying them, but a great present for my brother would be a seat for a day with the Best Team in Wales!

    2. What sort of scrum for away tickets can we expect?
With 16,000 season ticket holders and only a few thousand away ticket allocation, even for the big clubs. There will be no real 'preferential' treatment for ST holders.

I know for a fact that every team needs to allow a minimum of 10% for the away fans so with the bigger clubs like Man UTD...... there will be over 7k tickets available so ordering online using season tickets or whatever should be fine. there are other stadiums only just bigger than ours so it will be harder to get them but getting them online then picking them up in the shop is always a bonus...... and calling is a definate safe bet too.

I must add that Season ticket holders are more likely to score tickets for the away games seeing as every game last season the tickets were available to them before general sale for a day or two earlier. The sooner you start going season ticket or not..... ALWAYS keep the stubs for the next games as they always come in handy!

According to what I've heard, its either 10% of capacity or 2000-3000. Depending on which is lower... What a club offers above the 2000-3000 mark is completely their choice.

Yeah that's right, it's 10% or 3000 whichever is lowest. Any more is up to the club, and I believe segragation can be taken out of those amounts as well. Leaving a 3000 allocation more likely to be 2700 for example.

It really is just a game of wait and see though at the moment. 16000 ST holders and at most probably 3000 away tickets. Assuming not all ST will want to go away I'd imagine each away allocation will be sold out to ST holders.

It's 2k maximum away fans, they have sold part of the north stand to home supporters, and I do think more tickets will sold to the home supporters if the away allocation is not sold, no disrespect here to any club, but can't see Wigan, Norwich , Bolton , Fulham, QPR , Stoke, and Blackburn bringing huge support here, for various reasons, and if the other games are on a Monday can't see a few others not selling all their allocation either

So it doesn't look like any away tickets will be on general sale which sucks, Just going to see what I can do I guess, Haven't got a season ticket so it looks like it's going to be a tough job to get any tickets this season.

Hopefully all the plastics will stop supporting when they realise we are going to be losing alot.

Jamie, I'm in the same boat as you. Living down south and with my son playing for Saturday mornings so pointless getting a season tickets would be a waste of money. Normally get to around 8 - 10 games a year home / away, so it's going to be difficult to see any games, thank god I've got Sky. What will P*** me off, is if season ticket holders get first priority on away games, as that will rule out as good as ALL non season ticket holders!!

Season ticket holders getting priority has been the case for as long as I can remember. Doubt that will change now, and I have no complaints about it. Those who commit to the price of a season ticket (barely any saving if you work it out) should get perks.

I think they should give a couple of hundred to general sale, seems a bit unfair if ST holders get all the tickets

Phil, if it does and the bubble does burst, just hope that those with ST stay loyal and re-new. Otherwise, the club will look to the non ST people again for revenue. I for one will be there to support my club. However it will be with truly disappointed that having followed The Swans for 30years. If I don't get to see any games this season, and then those fans who desert after there glory season, never to return!! and only ever will when were in the Premier League. I have joined the 1912 foundation and will the trust when it's release in the faint hope of getting tickets.

Yes my sentiments completely neveroffside, of course if we do stay up, then are we going to have this scramble again for limited seats, due to the Liberty being too small, I think those that have been bitten this season will not be bitten twice, making the pressure for tickets next season even more of a problem!...................

Phill, have to agree. If we do stay up, then I will have to invest in a season ticket, that's if there are any to get!! Will be a waste of money for me, but that will be the only way I get to see Premier League Football.

At the moment all of our fixtures are on Saturdays. Does anybody know how far in advance they make the switch from default Saturday to a Sunday or Monday. I am trying to make plans to travel to a few away games on the assumption that home tickets are going to be nigh on impossible to get and in particular the Man City game. Wrestling with plane ticket prices is a bar steward so I need to pin actual match dates as far in advance as I can.

With regard to away tickets which I think was the gist of the first post (re Man City) I believe it is going to be very difficult to guarantee getting one even if you are season ticket holder new or old.

I've been a season ticket holder since I was a kid (over forty odd years) and in the last ten or more been travelling to most of our away games. Last season the only one I missed was Sheff Utd because the M5 was blocked and we had to turn back after being stuck there for hours so you could say that I'm a regular along with around 400/500 others who have followed the team all around the country. Question is should we now have priority having been to places like Boston, Rochdale, Hartlepool, S****horpe, Ipswich, Carlisle on a tuesday night etc etc ahead of someone who now fancies a trip to Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea but will pass on Blackburn, Wolves and Norwich?

Will the club take the regular travellers into consideration when deciding how to distribute the limited away tickets or will they say now that we have 16,000 season tickets everyone should get an equal chance in a ballot....

Libertyswan - as far as I am concerned the regular away fans should be guaranteed tickets for away matches. Lets hope the Club can find a way to reward them.

NB: For the vultures - I am not a regular away fan so I am not looking after my own interests.

If I had my way , those 500 or so fans would have any ticket they desire Liberty . Not just because it's fair , but because there needed there !!
