    Hello everyone.

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas how much it will cost to see watford play this season if you dont have a season ticket?

Due to the fact I work shifts, spoke to the ticket office but they could not give me any information.

thanks in advance for your opinions.

    cheers

Last years ticket price structure was quite simple, All games except 3 "kid a quid" games were :

Adults £25, OAP £15 and children £10 for all areas except Upper Rous which was Adults £30 and OAP £20 children not sure????? These figures were all subject to booking fees, in advance £1 ish + 50p additionals. On the day I think the booking fees were £2 each.

Next season the club may seek to increase the costs (the history being done in tranches year 1 "top 8 games", year 2 next ones, year 3 all). I expect the ticket prices to be either unchanged or a rise of £2.

The man to ask is Michael Jones, I'm not sure what title he may have (this week), but I have history with him. We once had a standing row in the ticket office, and when I said to him "I have been told the tickets for the West Ham game (22 Aug 06) were to be £35 each" he told me I was wrong. The next week, the Watford Observer had a huge headline "ticket furore as West Ham tickets will cost £35". He and I both knew he was lying to me at the time, as the accountant at West Ham had told me.

The tickets for the first home game vs Derby wont be on sale for another 3 weeks, but Michael knows how much they will be. The fact they haven't told you is just amateurish.

Put it this way, I haven't trusted the ticket office since Charlie was sacked in 2002 after the Vialli fiasco. I hope that helps, and I'm sorry if the story sounds a little bitter (I just don't like being told I'm lying).
