Was reading this article on Scottish Ticket prices, and was proud to see my beloved Partick Thistle got a mention for trying to build their fanbase for the future .... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23960850 Promoted Partick Thistle offer match-day tickets at £20 but have continued their policy of offering free admission to supporters aged under 16. "Partick Thistle are proud to be the only club in the Scottish Premiership to continue to offer our junior supporters free entry to all league fixtures," said football operations manager Michael Max. "We do not think our pricing structure for kids can be matched by any club in the country, something we are extremely proud of." I wonder if this is something we should be looking at, even if it's only in the Family stand or the cheese wedge. Thoughs? For balance, here's the english article too ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24052562
Nice jesture from PT. Suggest Leeds allow free entry for children 12 and under when accompanied by an adult.
West Ham are doing at least 6-games with kids going in for a quid. They say they are losing a generation of young fans so need to do something about it. We lost 2 generations under that coont Bates. West Ham need another 20k fans to fill the olympic stadium dont they? so not very philanthropic afterall.
Agree, awesome gesture from my favourite Scottish team (along with Brechin and Albion Rovers). Shows it can be done ... come on the Jags!!!
