Never mind, season ticket holders have snapped them all up. Bullshit policy they get first dibs

Yes, ST holders do get first dibs but, to be fair, by definition they have already invested several hundred pounds in the club for the next season. Perhaps the club wants to reward that. It would be entirely rational to do so.

I've spent £700 on my season ticket for this year. If I am prepared to pay that amount along with other STHs (of varying amounts) it's only fair that we get an earlier say on tickets.

The only way a system could work to reward away supporters would be to allow priority to them once they had spent as much as STHs on matchday tickets (travel and accommodation expenses excluded as the club would not recognise these, only home games and possibly away games though the latter again don't go towards club coffers except cup tickets). However, you'd have to factor in that many STHs would also be travelling to away games. So perhaps half way through the season, non-STH fans who had travelled to all away games would get priority over STHs who had not attended any away games. It would probably be too complex to have a sliding scale factoring in the number of away games STHs had attended vs non-STH away fans as the season progressed. The other issue of course is carry over from the season previous.

I believe the season ticket holderfirst rule is pretty standard, it helps against the trouble makers.
