    Any news regarding exiting admin?

The clock is ticking and we are potentially weeks away from being thrown out of the league!

Spooky Dev - was just sat here at work at 14:53 thinking the same thing....it has all gone very quiet - not sure if that is good or bad. Whatever the outcome I'm proud we are in all likelihood going down with some real fight. Will be trying to sort a ticket for Sheff Utd just in case - that could well be a be a lump in the throat day.

It looks as though Orville has raised his ugly head again with a £6.3mn bid for Fratton Park, with the High Court hearing due next week. BC trying to delay matters AGAIN perhaps to get the liquidation he now really wants?<doh>Hopefully all parties and the FL will see through this latest ruse. More importantly will the HC Judge, accept the PST bid which on the face of it is half the Orville bid?<doh>

As I understand it, what the judge is actually deciding is whether PKF have done their job properly in valuing the land at that price. Land is, like anything else, only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Hard to see how that site is worth 6 million quid.

Isn't there some clause in the deeds that says Fratton Park can only be used for football [i.e you couldn't buy the ground and then build a supermarket on it]?

If that's the case, let the duck fisted parasite buy the ground. Pompey could then give him the finger and ground share with Havant and Waterlooville. OK there's only a 5,250 capacity but there would be a full house for every game, generating one hell of an atmosphere.
Meanwhile Orville is left with a white elephant and nothing to do with it. Maybe the PST could approach him after a year or so with a generous offer of, say €1M so he can cut his losses.

Hardly a ringing endorsement of his business acumen, is it?

Saw Keith Harris live once at uni. The duck was ok, but the real star was the monkey. He had the foulest mouth i've ever heard, like R2D2.

beggars belief how a man can apparently table a bid of 6.3m for FP, yet needs an investor to stave admin for a company that posts losses of 600,000.......why not invest in your own company? Unless you dont have the dollar of course!

I think the judge will be well versed on all aspects of our admin, our league position, our likely hood of liquidation if all matters are not concluded before season end, portpin etc etc..........next week is a 2 day hearing with summary, provided the judge does not give portpin leave to appeal on his decision, we are home and dry.........if he allows an appeal to be granted..........we are doomed!

    keep the faith people, BP
