The sands of time, and possibly our season, are ticking down very quickly and, as yet, no action to bring in new players. Unless Sean can produce miracles with what we already have at Ashton Gate then our chance of relegation increase with every lost point. We need new blood now, but I don't think any of us can see where we are going to find the new red juice we so desperately require. Someone please cheer me up and tell me the transfer wheels are not just slip sliding away but are giving us some traction to get up the terrible hill that we face. Please.
Mike According to some sources the deal for the Crawley defender McFadzean is dead but we are close to a deal to bring in defender Brendan Maloney (who I hear you say!?) is close. Apparently he is a versatile defender who is on a free transfer
I saw both those items on the ongoing transfer site. Dropping McFadzean deal is good because I was concerned that we don't need League One players but players from further up the evolutionary ladder. We have to hope that our new leader knows someting about Moloney that can help our cause in both long and short term. The need for good players is right now, and building for the future can wait until we know where we are heading. We'll keep our hopes up for a major improvement in player quality and let the chips fall where they may. Come on Sean let's get it right.
The medical people apparently are not sure that he would have played at llthis season thats why the deal is off might sign him in the summer if we are still interested
To hawkmoonfy2 - he would have fitted in well with the other players who haven't played this season lol. To Tampa - I'm going to concentrate on the upcoming mini season at Ashton Gate lol.
