I expect to see Tahita Pearl 9/4 to go in at 4.40 sedge. Won 4 of his 5 runs on this course, definitely looks the one to beat.
I have one for tomorrow that I think will take a lot of beating. I believe the horse to be very well handicapped and that the price should be taken early. It is available at 7-2 but could go off much shorter. Lingfield 5.25 Portmonarch 7-2

20.20 Tauton - Luci Di Mezzanotte 11/2 Excuses the last twice; first race she ran green and secondly she was left behind after a messy start but still ran on strongly for an (albeit a distant) 4th. With a better start, experience under her belt, the stable's normal jockey on board (Leigton Aspell), the trainer in decent form and a weakish race she should go close. Put it in an ew acc with Portmonarch (Bluesky, who is on a major roll!) and Four Shuck Men (ROTO/Bostonbob/heisenburg). Good luck everyone!
Shark Hanlon thinks his will take the beating...but then he tipped up almost all his runners. Nowt for me today....poor offerings. GL anyone having a go.
Henry Brooke, without looking behind once, hit that horse 6 times for no reason when a mile clear....hope he gets a ban...f****** moron.
Actually shows how limited the conditionals and amateurs are in the UK. We heard several on here extolling the credentials of Nico de Henderson only to watch him get completely outridden and outclassed at Punchestown.
I am going to push my luck and double up another horse with Port Monarch which was put up earlier. I have backed it in a single and a double with the other one. Redcar 5.35 Multifact 5-1 I feel that realistically there are only four horse to be made any kind of case for and that Multifact is on such a low mark he is worth taking a chance on at decent odds of 5-1. I am interested to see if good/firm ground can show an improvement as he has never raced on anything with a bit of bounce before. Taking a look at the last maiden he ran in last year many of the horses ahead of him are running off of much higher marks now and of the seven in front 5 are no longer maidens. I feel this is an interesting stat - these are the marks that the horses in front raced off in their last race 79-74-87-63-69-50-73, the one who raced off of 50 chocolate box won his race this week for William Hagges. The mark that Multifact will race from today is 55.
Im currently trying to get some info on the Brittain horse bluesky on her handicap debut. Ill let you know if I hear anything.....
Been told if she likes the ground they expect her to go very close, read from that as you like but ill have a small ew bet to nothing at 6s. Nothing to get carried away with though. The last 2 winners Ive been given from there were both along the same lines, they dont get over confident.
Good luck with those Blue. No bets today for me, but thanks for pointing out Fencing yesterday. I liked Sovreign Debt myself, so did the RFC, paid to equivalent of 12-1
Well I feel sorry for you if anyone backed Mr Cardle in the bumper at Sedgfield. I didn't realise Richie McGrath was just starting out as a jockey. He gave that horse one of the least ballsy rides I've seen on a horse that was clearly fancied.
He rides longer than Andrew Thornton and is not a fav pilot of mine. Haven't actually seen the race in question so can't really comment.
