3.20 Ludlow ITALIAN MASTER. Very much next years horse and one to follow going chasing, I expect an improved showing. On debut there was a glimpse of some real talent and on decent ground I think he will travel very strongly. Been given a break deliberately by Nicholls and has had time to develop. Can sign off with a win and go chasing next winter.
3.50 Ludlow. Gentleman Anshan. (Nap)Is at the top of his form and, although stepping back in trip, can go in again for his 7lb claiming lady rider. Recommended ..Good Each Way Bet @ 7.2/1 Win and 1.64/1 Place on Betfair. 4.55 Clonmel. Saint Gervais. No trainer places his horses better than John Kiely and Saint Gervais should justify favouritism. Andrew MacNamara takes the mount. 7.25Clonmel. Kilbarry Beauty. Kiely specialises in NH flat races and can double up with newcomer Kilbarry Beauty, ridden by Nina Carberry. Good punting to everyone.
I'm not one for backing favourites but I think 3.10 Folkestone Seeking Magic 11/8 will be extremely hard to beat. Clive Cox's lightly raced 4 year old looks to have by far the best form in the book. 2 starts back he finished a short head 2nd and the 3rd won his next two starts, and has since won off a 9lb higher mark. LTO he beat a Mount Hollow who won off a 4lb higher on his next start. As he won on debut, the break is no concern and I think Cox's only runner of the day, at a track where he has a 25% strike rate, can land this pretty weak looking Class 4 event.
Morning gents, quick one before heading into work. Us Masters 1st Rd leader: Ross Fisher 150/1 e.w quarter odds 5 places Stewart Cink 175/1 e.w quarter odds 5 places Both smart on their day and if on form then why not at those odds? Fancy Westwood to go very close to winning it overall.
Really tough days racing, I looked at Folkestone and thought that I could have a right 'mare and not pick a winner through the whole card. No bet for me today, hopefully the blog will be right in that the Channon horse should win, but I wouldn't be backing it at short odds.
Nass: Morning, but Maljimar's overall record ain't too bad, wouldn't you say? Maybe cross-countries are a bit boring for the hoss: Jumps placings 2/6/P14/F2313/2U41U/72P/253F/F74-151P71 LIFETIME RECORD STARTS WINS 2NDS 3RDS WINNINGS EARNINGS BEST TS BEST RPR OR† NHF.........................1........0...... 1...... 0..... £0............. £732........ —....88 Hurdle.....................4........1...... 0...... 0..... £3,253....... £3,896..... 84....93...102 Chase....................26........5.......4......3......£72,548.......£121,190..137..151..127 Rules Races............31........6.......5.......3......£75,801..... £125,817....—.....—....—
Here is one for you to research, how many times in the last few seasons has Maljmar lost after trading at odds on in running. betfair race form will tell you the answer (I can't look at the moment because I have to create a wonderful aerial photography dataset of the New Forest)
God, bitten off more than I can chew here. Don't do Betfair but will try. If no answer, means I haven't a clue, as usual!......... ........................................................................... Lord, yes, see what you mean. Simple answer is - a few times I think. Think I've only bet 'in-running' once or twice with my bookie so know little about it.
Paul Hannagan can't even get rides for his new boss must have been told you can't ride the French ones. Two Group 3s today and a leading 2000 guineas hope and he isn't allowed to ride it. **** off to Folkestone he has been told
No horsies for me until rish grand national day on Monday.Only really watch the golf for the majors so will be having an e.w punt on hunter mahan who has won two decent tournaments recently and is 33/1.Lee Westwood and Jason Day also look to have a decent chances.
Your a malicious person...................lesson one in the art of respect.................confucious says try and see the good in everything and you wont go far wrong I am sure there is a logical reason why Paul Hanagan has not got those rides. Good luck with your imaginary bets today, have you ever thought of joing the Army in particular the Territorials?
Wayward: Glad you didn't ask me that question. Normal Nat.Service was enough for me let alone the Territorials, but glad I managed to do it all the same! Must have been the dumbest 'erk' ever! Erm, I'm no disciple, btw, although you could have called me that once upon a time with regard to Timeform founder Phil Bull. However, when he became totally disinterested in the sport with advancing age, I renounced my vows! Have a successful day!
Fact: Absolutely nothing to do with Phil; he did not like NH racing at all and considered it unrateable. NH ratings were introduced by his people when he was slowly getting out of running the business. No way would he have let it happen when he was in full charge.
imaginary bets. Do I have to bet like to be a part of this forum ? I am off out to drink beer in the sun. Tell GDC my dad paid for it for me have a good day all. No aftertiming 100/1 winners today DONKIN THE SEX PEST
Germany's Stefan Nimke is some athlete. Just went back World Championships in the Kilo. The man is a monster.
Another early season winner for Bill Turner, a nice effort on debut too. Glad I swerved it as a betting heat.
