In the Class-4 Handicap at Sandown (19:45) this evening over a distance of 7f, Global Esteem has a decent chance of leading all the way. Sandown is a favourable track for front-runners, and the Kodiac gelding could well have an uncontested lead? Also, seems to be maintaining his form of late quite well. Pat Dobbs rides for the John Gallagher yard. A pretty meagre 100/30 seems to be the best price at time of writing.

Well, that panned-out really well. Led all the way and held-on bravely. Fine ride by Pat Dobbs. Sandown Park is certainly a paradise for any good front-runner.
