Despite the heavy ground think we might see a decent 2 year old debut in the first race at Salisbury

Cherry Brave caught my eye at 28/1 in the opener at Warwick. Second and first in 2 Irish points, get's the female allowance plus 5lbs jockey's claim and you'd think the Skeltons would have her ready to do herself justice on debut. Yard form fairly good (plenty of placed horses and a few winners in the last couple of weeks) so worth an e/w dabble.

Actually not a bad card at Warwick with Guard Your Dreams going novice chasing and obvious interest in the bumer given what Nass posted. Gives me something to do on a dreary German bank holiday (happy reunification day @SwanHills)

Erm, just noticed that it's also the second day of the 3-day Jewish New Year 'holiday' in the Hebrew calendar, i.e. Rosh Hashanah. <whistle> :emoticon-0105-wink:
(Kind of ironic, in a way?)

Non-runner

18:00 Chelmsford City - Brandywine Falls e/w

Selection has a squeak in this Class-5 Nursery over 7f on the Polytrack surface. Improving slowly and ran well 8-days ago in a 6f Nursery at Redcar (good ground) finishing well from wide-out. No more blah-blah, the Bated Breath colt will do for me! Jack Mitchell rides for the Roger Varian yard.

13/2 (Bet365) best price early-doors, on the ATR site.

(Name kind of brings back memories. Was visiting a good client in Philadelphia years ago, and one evening went to Brandywine Harness Racing Raceway in nearby Wilmington, Delaware. Last race managed to find the winner at a decent price, nearly missed the bus back to Philly! Sadly, the track was closed permanently on the 28th December, 1989)

Ran okay in 3rd after travelling like best horse in the race, but Trainer’s fear about the ground seemed to be correct after getting tired in the final furlong

Quite a big day for the stable form of FOB. Kaylan is supposed to be useful and has been supported in the bumper.

Really took off in the final furlong when the penny dropped. Nice. I think that was a fairly decent bumper for the time of year too.

Eupator runs at Kempton today [5.15]

Was 9-2 yesterday, but Hugh Taylor has now tipped him...currently 5-4!
