GLAMOROUS FORCE 9/1 Wolves 5:10
This one is improving with every run and now steps into nursery company. The yard have hit a rich vein of form and this wont take a great deal of winning.

An interesting one in an awful looking nursery. Harris is 3/6 the past fortnight and Call Me Cheers looks short enough as favourite. Queen Of The Clyde appeals more at double the odds given she has finished ahead of the Fav previously and her Musselburgh run last time might be worth forgiving at 5/1.

Couldn't quite bring myself to have a bet here but good luck with your pick.

Your wonderful Mr Ponce-onby has shares for sale in an unraced 2yo with EJH. 10% shares at £3,450 per share. Even my West London comprehensive taught me that equates to £34,500.00
This is only interesting because you can trace his purchase of the animal back to the Goffs Premier Sale earlier in the year and see that he paid £20,000.00 for the beast.
Some might say that he is only doing good business while others might say he is a rip off merchant of the highest order. I am also in no doubt that he is taking a monthly cut of training fees.
Whatever the view he definitely does not fall in to my forum favourite anything category.

I say Stick, my old love, that’s a bit harsh. Chap has to make a living and all that.

Plus, don’t forget that unlike many in racing Mr Ponsonby doesn’t have his racing expenses paid for by the dear old taxpayers (either in this country or around the world).

Members are though paying for the whole ‘Ponsonby package’. Not only the horse itself but the raceday experience as well. For instance just imagine how their hearts must swell to walk into the paddock and see Mr Ponsonby as a member of their crew. Priceless, I’m sure you’d concur. And if their animal was trained by The Lieutenant and he was accompanying Mr Ponsonby…beyond priceless.

not bad if you can afford to set it up!! Much like the racing club who won the Triumph last year.

Ah, yes, the old Devizes crew. I’m sure we could all have a 10 hour debate re that lot!

Am though greatly looking forward to one of their team making it handicap bow in the not too distant future. Nudge, nudge, etc, etc.
