Morning all
A couple of bumpers in the UK of interest today.
Firstly at Wincanton, where Milton Harris can continue his fine start to the season with the wonderfully named
Hasty Parisian (by Champs Elysees out of Va'vite

). Some pretty averagely-bred animals in this so Hasty Parisian wouldn't need to be anything special to prevail.
By contrast, the bumper at Market Rasen has attracted a number of nicely-bred types. Top of the market this morning is Chianti Classico who chased home that German raider at Ascot, Estacas. They did finish in a bit of a heap that day (obviously the winner did it very well, coming late and fast) and I'm not sure that warrants Chianti Classico being 11/8 fav for this and he is pretty weak in the betting this morning. The two who have been attracting support this morning are; Firstly, Fergal O'Brien's Fame and Glory gelding, Festive Glory. He is a half-brother to Babeny Bridge who had 5 wins and 2 second places in his first 7 starts in points; Secondly, the Queen's runner, High Yield, a half-brother to Summer Storm who won on bumper debut at Southwell for Nicky Henderson. But the one my arrow has landed on today is Alan King's
Forget The Way. This Getaway gelding is a half-brother to Midnightreferendum whose bumper record for King reads 312 and, whilst the yard is not in the greatest of form right now, they do have a 15% strike rate in bumpers over the last 5 years.
