Air Force Blue retired to stud. Imagine if they retired horses by talking the truth. "Air Force Blue retired to stud today after he couldn't even win a race in a year choc full of absolutely bang average and piss poor 3 year olds. He built up some great hype in his two year old runs, winning at 6f and 7f, but unfortunately he did what most War Fronts do and jacked it in after his summer holidays." Aidan O'Brien commented that "8/15 for the Guineas at one point is probably the funniest thing since convincing you that Camelot was the best I had ever trained" , adding that "only Richie Persad trying to fit in at Royal Ascot" came close to making him laugh that much.
16:30 Brighton - Safira Menina e/w (Sporting punt e/w at the 14/1 generally available atm. Heck, I've even backed it in the Virtual Betting Shop too! ).
Can Hipz get me some of the money back she owes me??? Think she owes Stick a few quid too if I remember rightly!!!
Very nearly indeed, was pulling hard at the start so had he not who knows might have had some more in the tank at the end! And I missed the Gary Moore winner too! At plumpton and Brighton nearly always has a winner each race day just a case of picking in the right runner hahah Not bad days racingactually today! The Clive cox winner (who I was on at 8/1) came out like a complete dog but finished off very well for a newcomer and looked quite talented, Haggas at Brighton (again was on ) what a strike rate he must have there won well! Was more of a crowd there today then I expected but was a good day for my Dad and I
