    Evening all a couple of fancies tomorrow;

17.45 Leopardstown- Afonso De Sousa 2/1

Came against some tough opposition at newmarket but did run on well to get 4th, this definately looks like an easier race and fully expect him to break his duck.

    19.40 Epsom- Emiratedotcom 10/1 E/W

Was given way too much to do, too late in the latest 6f race @ haydock ran on well but was given a bad ride. He has held the same rock solid form as last year so fully expect him to do the same and if not given to much to do again, will be there or there abouts

    15.40 Sandown- Angel Gabrial 9/2

Was given a very dodgy path through when 2nd @ chester lto and if he had not tried to go through gaps and being bumped that werent there I am failry confident he would have won if he can stay out of trouble he definately has leading claims

Also hopefully Native Khan will be back to winning ways but hard to see him reversing form with Famous Name as both are the same mark but the latter is way too short for me to punt on at odds on

    6.00 Epsom - LADY GIBRALTAR 4/1

Won from mark of 71 on AW at Lingfield in December and bit of improvement when scoring more convincingly from same rating on turf there last month. Was very unlucky at Ascot 4 days ago when her saddle slipped. The drop back to 5f will also be of benefit.

    JOB DONE!!

Morning all, I'm just back from a wonderful morning out on the Newmarket gallops. Today was our visit to Warren Place and we spent half an hour or so on the Warren Hill gallop with Sir Henry, watching 4th lot do some routine canters, including Beauty Parlor and Morpheus, Frankel's 2yo half-brother.

Sadly Sir Henry has lost his voice but we were lucky enough to be talked through everything by Lord Grimthorpe, Juddmonte's racing manager.

At the start of the morning we were told that we would not see Frankel as they were keeping him under wraps and giving him peace and quiet before next week. It was a tad disappointing but not unexpected.

We had a tour of the yard, and saw several horses including Twice Over and got a close up look at Morpheus - a very impressive looking individual. I was struck by how laid back the horses all were, we walked through a barn where every head over the door was inquisitive but well mannered: imagine my surprise when I discovered it was the 2yo colts barn!

As we headed back to our bus we passed a small barn with windows that looked out over the yard. And there he was! They had moved Frankel from his regular box (security issues) to one where we could see him, albeit only his head. Sadly we were not allowed to take pictures during the visit, but nonetheless, it was a wonderful morning.

    Roll on next Wednesday!

Afternoon guys, bit off topic but I've been informed from someone involved in oylmpic opening ceremony that Tom Daley is in the running to light the cauldron tomorrow night and current price is around 12/1 just in case anyone wants to invest a few quid. Wouldn't normally touch anything like this but just passing what I've been told. Good luck if you dabble ;)

Hi Stick - I don't know whats gone on here - maybe a 'good tip' you passed on didn't win ... and someone gave you some angst ... Rise above it mate I've been enlivened by the majority of the posts that you have made on the original BBC site and now on this one - I've never felt like you were 'making' me have a bet ... 'caveat emptor' - Buyer Beware - is the warning we should all heed when acting on any information . So my friend - get back on the horse and continue to give us those interesting , valuable insights of yours (and any dog fancies) ... the site is a poorer place without your tips ... Cheers mate.

Anyone expecting guaranteed winners deserves to lose their money. Hell I work in the racing industry and if I hung around on the gallops every morning I could probably get enough tips to bankrupt myself several times over!

Every owner/stable lad expects their horse to win, but there can only be 1 winner for each race.

I watched a documentary on Tom the other evening and he's one strong young man. Can't see him lighting the flame though and Redgrave won't want the limelight I would go for the Dame Kelly, if I was forced to punt.

Afternoon people and dull dark and dreary day up North with persistant drizzle/showers suppose the Mountain Biking will be put on hold until it lets a little, in the mean time i will hope to follow on from yesterdays very ccesful day following jockey Ryan Moore rather than horses and offer up my selections for today which are all interestingly enough the mount of Paul Hanigan who could go home today with a handful of winners:

    Sandown

2.30 - Muburaza 9/2 upped in class and distance today but the way in which he won LTO when he stayed on up the Newmarket hill really well suggested that he had plenty of scope and more in hand.

3.05 - Rayaheen 7/4 highlighted by Stick earlier and looks the one to beat after showing plenty of promise on her debut when routing a the field in a 6f Maiden at Nottingham, interestingly she held an entry in a 6f Gp 3 Filles, but opts for todays race.

3.40 - Fadaah 5/1after competing at a higher level he drops to a Grade that has seen him at his best over C&D with two runs and two seconds at Sandown and should be good enough to be involved here.

4.05 - Estabaal 9/4 ran green on his debut but still went close at Newmarket and should be better for that race, todays firmer conditions could be the difference.

Over at Bath and Uttoxeter a quick glance at the cards indicates to me that it could be a day to follow the favourites, good luck if you play.

In the next at Bath, Complexity 7/1 is an interesting runner who is out of a 2yo winner; however, i think the favourite will take all the beating The Sixties 7/4.
