One that I have been eager to see reappear is out tomorrow. SWALLOWSHIDE 2.25 Wincanton was third to Gone Too Far and Hannibal The Great on his only start last season in a bumper. He ran an absolute belter that day which was remarkable in as much as the yard were in shocking form. That isn't the case any more and I fully expect this highly thought of youngster to step up markedly now he sees a hurdle. Its a decent race and I am glad of that as it should ensure a decent price!

Over in the Chepstow mud BALLYEGAN 3.20 14-1 should be revelling in the conditions. Very one paced but stays longer than the mother in law. He has dropped to an extremely workable mark and should be better for his pipe opener last month.

I actually like the look of two in the same race tomorrow, the 1:50 at Wincanton I'll be backing Carrigmorna King 7/1 & Balzaccio 11/1 both ew and rev f/c

Also doing a small ew on Clockmaker 15/2 in the 7:10 Kempton

    Thought this : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...e-odds-make-internet-gamblers-likely-win.html

might make some interesting reading then discovered it was based on bets placed on low league Italian football, coz there hasn't been any corruption in that format now has there?

Betting on football at the last minute I WOULD HAVE thought gained you over bets placed at the start of a week as you know line ups, weather, shape of the ball etc etc

But betting on low Italian/any league football to my mind would require GREATER knowledge of the bet in question!!

when is a 4/6 chance a good value bet?

some would say never but I really can't see beyond TIGRESSE BLEU in the 1.40 at Chepstow today.

Morning, crew. Hope everyone on board is well. Good, good. Cor blimey though cricket on the ‘daily thread’ I say that’s not cricket!

The local dogs are all barking for TANTE SISSI (3.00 Wincanton) this morn and I would concur with them people as the mare looks very nicely treated off 124 on this her fencing bow. Old boy Alan King and her owners must obviously believe she is capable of taking quite high rank over the big ‘uns because if she had ‘gone’ the old girl would surely, and I do mean surely, have been retired to the old breeding shed a while back given that she is a Listed winner over hurdles and therefore a very valuable broodmare proposition. Although somewhat disappointing last term and having to carry a large impost this afternoon I can see fences revitalising Tante Sissi and furthermore her opponents are, in the main, out of form and not the greatest set of mares ever to line up in front of the old boy starter.

    Good luck to all.

Morning all , with Devils Bride now a non runner I am quite keen on Gallant Tipp 5/2 in the 2:00 at Thurles today in what could prove an above average novice hurdle, he beat Wild Sapphire over 3l last time out and Wild Sapphire franked that form when a very well fancied runaway winner at Wexford on Tuesday, step up in trip and ground look set in our favour and a big run expected.

Best of luck to everyone as usual.

Mr Henderson’s WEST WIZARD taken out of the Ascot race tomorrow, people. Now looks likely he will debut at Kempton Park on Monday in race that Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer, has won in the past with likes of Bobs Worth and Darlan. Prepare, troops, to be spellbound...

And to my eye he looked very, very good. Early days, but on that evidence Trifolium looks a major contender for top novice chasing honours this term. A 147 rated hurdler he could be even better over the big ‘uns, methinks.
