No thread up yet so here is my sole puny contribution. If anyone starts a proper thread please use that one instead.

Chepstow 15.45 Evens Opera Og looks pretty generous to me

Two strongly fancied selections for me today.

Wolverhampton
2.30 Quality Art 9-2

I put this up two days ago only for it to be a non runner. It has a lot going for it tomorrow, great draw, Blinkers fitted and won the race last year, and so at 9-2 it has to be worth a punt.

Kempton
7.30 King Olav 5-1

This is a horse with the ability to win a race of this nature. It's also looked recently like a horse waiting to hatch a plot, and so the question is when will that be? It appears tomorrow may well be the day if the early exchanges are to be trusted as the horse has been backed down from 16's and as it's trained by Tony Carroll and ridden by Jim Crowley, if this is the day then I don't see the money going astray.

Good luck all <ok>

With all due respect I wouldnt back KING OLAV even with Nass' money. It was backed the last time and ran as if something was seriously amiss. Good luck if you are on but far too many negatives about the horse these days for my liking!

One for me today:

4:20 Chepstow - Mark the book 9/2.

Fancy him today. Back at Chepstow which he loves, ground and distance ideal, in class race which won in before. Jacob back on board.

Good luck all with your picks.

Good job, because my money is staying in my bank. Nothing today, but I am really looking forward to Doncaster tomorrow if the snow stays away.

There is one of ROTO's big favourites running on Saturday in the form of Educate. Won his last 2 races last year very cosily after being gelded, he is up another 8lb's to a mark of 88 but crucially has form on the expected Heavy ground with his latest sucess coming on Heavy ground. He is 20/1 for the Spring Mile and I'll investing should the meeting go ahead.

For today:

17:50 Chosen Forever 3/1

You really have to admire jockeys toughness. Just a week after suffering a punctured lung at Cheltenham, Davy Russell is back for one ride in the wind and rain at Cork today. You wouldn't see that in many other sports. His one ride today is one Rebel Fitz who should have too much class on his return for the opposition but in the heavy conditions and over a trip further than ideal, Willie Mullins promising Tarla could be the one.

Cor blimey people liven up...chop chop!

I too, may I add, am looking forward to the old Flat campaign. Sir Henry, Sir Michael, King Kieren, Ryan Moore, old boy Gosden, the lovely Amy Ryan, panama hats at Goodwood, the loveable gypsies at Epsom, swathes of ‘mutton dressed as mutton’ at Royal Ascot, Mr Henderson popping one up in a major staying handicap, beasts quickening again at the furlong pole...ah great memories.

Re the likes of the Lincoln and the old Brocklesby though it seems that old girl Mother Nature will decide as to whether or not they are staged. Inspections called for both Friday and Saturday.

Balicks. You can watch them through Bet365 but you need a bloody good connection!

Apps won't necessarily get you a free view of the racing. http://www.wiziwig.tv/broadcast.php?matchid=185362&part=sports <--- this will sometimes show Racing UK coverage, but normally only during the week at smaller meetings.

You may find that you have to do what the rest of us do and have a quid on something with a bookie that does live streaming. PP, WH and SJ are the three I know about.

Which one did you end up with? I was contemplating a Nexus 7 before the Cheltenham Festival, then decided Chelts was going to cost me plenty without lobbing out for expensive toys <laugh>

Edit: posted at same time as you Stick - I don't have a bet365 account - do they do the same as the others in requiring a bet in the race you want to see?

I have a Samsung galaxy tablet and use my mobile phone as a tethering wifi hotspot. Depending on the signal it can either be brilliant or complete cack!

He's never won at Wolves, Blue .... has a great chance, although I feel that Angelo Poliziano has an equally great chance, albeit from a wide draw.

Good luck <ok>

Got myself a Tosiba tablet and I am more than impressed with its ease of use and crackin speed. Still only priced at £250 with £100 off at Argos.
