Stick, me old love, he’s out again tomorrow! What’s going on?!? Has the plan to run Vosne Romanee in the ‘Freddie Winter’ being shelved or is tomorrow simply another ‘prep’??? If it is that horse is having so many hors d'oeuvres he’ll be stuffed by the time the main course comes along. Must say though that tomorrow does look another perfect opportunity for Vosne Romanee to visit the winners enclosure (7.10 Chelmsford).
Pot hunting again Barney I suspect. Forecast 13/8 seems a pipe dream but if we can get that it must be one of the bets of the week.
He was the bet of the month at 4/1 last time Bob....paid 2/1 even with the Rule 4. Mopping up some easy money for the partnership and will be tip top for the Fred Winter without killing his mark. The 25/1 is looking tasty!
Yep agree Bob that the 13/8 looks most appealing. However, like your good self I would expect the horse to open shorter. Maybe though the presence of a Gosden runner will make Vosne Romanee a bigger price. Also, I see Stonecutter changed hands a couple of weeks ago for 52,000 gns so he could have his supporters as well. Glad to see Stick that the ‘Fred Winter’ is still the plan for the horse.
They think he is only 50/50 to get in the Fred Winter. If he doesnt he will be in the Triumph but I wouldnt fancy him for that. He wins tomorrow they reckon....wheelbarrow job
Oh yes. From having very strong opinions 12 months ago I'm left with much less to say this time round though.
Might be an idea to get Boris on the panel (if he's willing of course) this year because he often pops up with big priced winners.
Same as Bob, dont have as much to say about it this year but if we are doing preview similar to last year I will take part. Its not really captured my imagination yet but I am looking forward to the Champion Hurdle and the RSA. I will be doing the Cheltenham Specials thread again giving much bigger prices than the bookies on high profile horses and I want revenge for last years heavy defeat!
