Word for Shankly's Dawn in the Tramore 3.10 on Thursday.. 13/2 in 3 places. 18 runner h'cap chase. I wouldn't go big on it, but worth an e/w punt. 5th at 12/1, My bookie paid (Betfred)
Make it a yankee. Dento Des Obeaux in the 1 30 Tramore @ 5/1 has to be of interest if it gets in, i imagine Mullins will scrap one of his others so it can run, 5/1 now will be about 2/1 if he does, money back if he don't.
Yes, we must see him with interest if he runs. Two years without running y he didn't show much in France in his only race and the horses that come from there are hard to start but he is 33/1 for the Supreme and if they really care about the horse surely take out one of the race.
Bored at work so have done the following at Taunton... 1:35 - Passing Dream @ 8/1 2.10 - Sackett @ 12/1 2.45 - Don't Ask @ 7/1 Work today is so slow this will give me something to look at as the day slowly approaches 5pm...!!
Laurina was always going to shy away from the faster ground. There has been a whole lot of hype about her, with talk of how huge she is, how 7 lbs improvement will see her go close in the Champion Hurdle etc but there is very little actual strong form on the board and she is running out of time to garner some experience at the top level before the Festival. I feel she is awful value at 5/1 for the big one. I went with Call Me Lord for the International. The Henderson horse let me down when I was on early doors for the Kingwell Hurdle but he was only 3rd to Alan King's Elgin, a horse I could never catch on the right day. Call Me Lord is a young horse and although his very best form was over 2M 5F he didn't give the impression he needed the full trip that day, as he travelled well before coming right away from decent sorts in Lil Rockerfeller and Wholestone. I got the impression that Call Me Lord had just found a new level of form that day and he went into my horses to follow and hopefully regain my Kingwell losses and more besides. Only 9 runs into his career, I expect more from a horse only 5YO and with Summerville Boy pretty disappointing last time behind Buveur D'air I thought Call Me Lord was worth a shot at 6/1 in a race where The New One has to do a partial "Phoenix from the flames" to avoid possible retirement. May the Lord save us. Call Me Lord 6/1 was the call over "Where's the rain dude?" Laurina. Good luck to all.
newcastle,2 55: WHISKEY CHASER has finished last season with a solid effort at ayr,and is on his last winning mark now,so can go well today..
warwick,3 35: these bumpers produce some shock results from time to time, and i hope,WELLAND,a big outsider, might go well.showed some ability on debut at market rasen in may in third, and the first and second have both won twice again since then,so the form doesnt look too bad..e w possible..
