Thunderclap 3.40 Catt has a nice progressive profile provided he's blown the cobwebs away at Bangor in early Dec. About 7/2.
3.20 Clonmel No real form in the race apart from Robindevidastar. Maybe CHOSEN SANT (8/1) can take this. After a long time out she seems to have ran a decent race last time and any improvement could be enough here.
After yesterday's dismal effort, hope I'll do a bit better today. The marathon slog at Catterick (14:30), a Class-3 Handicap Chase over 3m6f on soft ground, gives the consistent Passing Glance gelding, No Cruise Yet, a sound chance at a decent price. A solid stayer, who will not want for stamina. Danger could well be the bottom weight, Shadows In The Sky. However, I prefer to select just one in a race. No Cruise Yet wears tongue-strap and blinkers. The capable NH jockey, Jonathan England, on board for the family yard. 13/2 is the best price, in most places, at time of writing. E/W best option.
