That's how tough the Marseille traveling fans are as they walked through Groningen. Pathetic, embarrassing! Will UEFA do anything about it? Bet they don't.
That chair the old woman is sat at was taken out with force. That could have been tragic. Bunch of ****s indeed.
Indeed, feel for them but could of been a lot more serious, I hope it hasn't since escalated - let's see how much of a mention it gets by the press/Uefa.
I like the way the geezer filming it got away from the area and put his pint down safely All football hooligans are total c u n t s regardless of nationality. When I went to Southampton away in the Keane promotion era I saw a singer land fan throw a chair at a passer-by from the bar I was in. All should be condemned in equal measure
They probably saw themselves being filmed and then played up. Don't know who was behind the camera so they may have been giving it the big 'come on'. Not defending the d!cks like as innocent people sat there having a pleasant afternoon. Bell ends.
Crikey- this predictive text is a nightmare You would think that it would be able to predict "Sunderland" I've had a few so might be pilot error
What exactly are you meant to do???? An old women woman, couple of middle aged women and a couple of men and a waiter attacked by a larger group of men intent on trouble. They should have put them all under citizens arrest if they weren't too preoccupied with their cameras.
Absolutely disgrace - low life thoughtless scum - indeed I wonder what if they have female relatives !! so angry with these a.....s - but nevertheless KTF and still ETU .
Looking at it as a broader issue, people have developed a habit of filming incidents rather than offering or going to help. Take a look at it again and see how far the gang walks without any warning from the filmer.
To be fair Smug, Nostalgic would have to slip his nurse to get away. I've tried slipping mine but they're sneaky buggers and keep bunging stuff in my tea that knocks me out!
Not sure what your reason is for asking, but had I been there rather than stand and film them I would have at least warned the customers that possible trouble was on the way and to watch out. Just for the record I am not judging people from an ivory tower but I saw the game I loved turned into gang warfare in the late 60s in England. Mainly silly young boys who would rather gang up for a fight and just happening to wear some team colours. If there was no other gang to fight then they would do worse than depicted in the video. Football hooliganism was deservedly known as the English disease and only caught on over the continent in the mid 70s.
Nah mate, would have leapt out of my bath chair, fixed bayonets and assumed an aggressive stance invoking the spirit of Waterloo and Dunkirk. They'd have run a mile.
