Too young to have seen him play, but the footage I've seen suggests to me he was very much a 'purple patch' player, who scored goals in clutches and was unstoppable when on form.

Thats the goal he scored which was a long kick like from the keeper I think which Beadle took it on his chest and span around and vollied it in from distance!! I was there too.
