When was the last time we won three games on the trot? I can't remember it. I don't want put a hex on the team, but Wolves at The Cottage looks like three points to me.
Out of our remaining fixtures this one does look like one of the more winnable but I was impressed with their second half performance against Newcastle, even though they cost me my accumulator! Not sure this one will be as easy as we think.
Relagation season with Hodgson 2007/2008.....we also had a monster run on the road, however the 3 went.....Win away at Man City, win home against Brum and of course win away at Pompey. A super year, ok desperate stuff but there is your 3 in a row. Oh and I only feel a point from Sunday.
No predictions for me. We have a chance to make it 3 in a row. Expect us to win a few of the theoretically easy games and this is one of them. Swansea, Norwich and Wigan the other 3. As we are getting close to 40 points the team will relax and potentially play better football. It will be a chance for Jol to also try more players and give a chance to youngsters.
I agree that the 3 points is not a gimme, but Wolves are in need of a win, whereas a little pressure has fallen away for us. 3 on the spin would do nicely. Let's just hope that MOTD's favourite pundit predicts a draw! C O Y W
I have been thinking along these lines too - 3 wins in a row and 3 from 3 from the Pog maybe? I agree that this won't be an easy game and Wolves are desperate for points but (and its a big but) if we play as well as we can for longer than we did on Saturday this should be another win. Of course, we are Fulham, which means its more likely we will do Wolves a favour and not make any progress up the table ourselves. Oh well.
We played enough to win the game but not particularly well apart from the first 30 minutes. We should have killed the game when they were down with 10 men and instead they had more space and missed 2 opportunities. But as everybody says we are Fulham and our yo-yo performances these year might come to haunt us again.
