After three seasons as a regular (two of which were as an ST holder) a mixture of financial and work reasons have kept me away from AP this term, reducing me to 'watching' via teletext/the interweb and the BBC red button. I know I'm not really qualified to comment on the team's performances so far, but I did want to congratulate the Beever on his form during this difficult season. I always thought staying up would be an achievement this year, but I never thought WW would struggle so much to hang on in there. Beavon has always looked sharp and tricky when he came on and I was surprised he never got a decent run in the side in the past. It looks like his goals might keep us up, with the irony being that he'll probably now get a better offer and be off. I hope not. I'm still not sure about Waddock, but surely if we stay up, a promotion and survival will be something to celebrate and he will be given more time. What he will do with it is another matter.
beavon is probably our best striker probably since mcgliesh, but even more enjoyable to watch. Hope we can keep hold of him, but something makes me severly doubt it!!!
What will we do next season when he leaves for a bigger club, another bloody loan player who wont be half as good?
