What's your favourite post-apocalyptic film? Probably Threads for me but then Conflict sampled it alot on The Ungovernabale Force so I was delighted when we got to watch it in General Studies at school.
Threads was a TV series in 83/84 I think. "When The Wind Blows" is a poignant and moving animation about how an elderly couple deal with post apocalyptic Britain. Best I have seen. Raymond Briggs also did "The Snowman", another classic.
Does anyone remember a foreign language one shown on telly years ago, this bloke was trying to find a girl but when he eventually did she'd been gang-raped and cut-up bad? Would like to watch that again.

28 Days Later is pretty decent, as are the first 2 Matrix films and Twelve Monkeys. The not quite post-apocalyptic, but definitely dystopian; Children of Men, Minority Report and Robocop are good films.
