'roberto mancini admits absentee list is causing problems at city!!!!!'......... ........aaaawwwwww bless him!!!!
Yeah I thought that - we had 4 of our first choice back 5 out against Citeh and they had a full squad to pick from and played the likes of David Silva, Aguero, Dzeko etc etc etc He has spent over £300m on players and can't put a team out after a couple of injuries.. Since O'Neill came in we have had loas of injuries but he has never complained about it once - he has simply stated that an injury for one player is an opportunity for another - and that also looks like it's the attitude that the players have. Young Colback picked up an ankle knock in the warm up against Wigan which will now keep him out for a monoth or so - but he still played the full game against Wigan - that's the difference between a player who wants to do it for the manager and a player who couldn't care less. I think the BBC called him "Nails" after he took a kick to the ankle towards the end of the game - and personally I think he's a much better left back than Richardson!!
what about blackburn, they have probably the biggest injury list in the league, yet they arent complaining as much as this guy is..
Don't know whether I actually said this on here, or just in my head. Man Citeh have a very good squad but a **** team. By that I don't think the manager is getting the best out of what he has. The good results are down to good individual players rather than good team play. Still not sure any of that makes sense but I know what I mean.
