The very best of luck with her, Stick, she really is an attractive mare. Hope you and your friends have loads of fun with her, and success too, and, importantly, she always returns from a race safe and sound.
I remember that emotional win for Brodie Hampson in the Royal Artillery Gold Cup at Sandown in 2016, watched by her terminally ill father. Very touching and covered in a nice article here: http://www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/142...n_wins_race_watched_by_terminally_ill_father/ It must be a great privilege to be involved with such a horse stick, a true warrior and one who helped fulfill a young girl's dream to ride a winner watched by her father during his last days of life. Best of luck with her this winter
Cool - I guess they would want soft ground, not sure how much of that there is about at the moment? Maybe the Southern National again, though that would be a big ask after the break.
Best of luck Stick I’m maybe about 18 months away from ownership myself and if all goes to plan, 4/5 years from a Festival runner - already told my Mrs that our future children will have to pay their own university fees
Jeez Stick, I've just had a look at some of her runs. I like her. I think she'll give you some great thrills in those 3+ mile races, she keeps on plugging away. Her big heart just might earn you a few quid. Nice one mate.
Best of luck Stick and more important that she stays safe and sound. Have fun and up the Rrrrrs my friend!
