Thought: Portsmouth are magic. Watch them disappear in to League 1 next season... Thought: Pompey are like a skate out of water - floundering. On a separate note, is anyone buying a season ticket for the first time this season? I am finally taking the plunge after supporting my beloved Saints for 23 years. I have no excuses and so I shan't attempt to make any... Finally, what odds are people getting on us to achieve promotion this year? Long hard road ahead but got to be worth a £10 flutter. I've got 16/1. PS, speaking to supporters of some Championship clubs, Nigel Adkins seems to be very highly rated in footballing circles and his status seems to be on the rise. Anyone else heard praise/constructive critique of him?
I am buying a season ticket this season for me and my son. This is the first time I have had a season ticket since I had one at the Dell when i was a lad. Where in the stadium do you plan to get your seat?
Usually when buying my matchday tickets I have always opted for Block 19. However, for the Walsall game in May, I sat in Block 16 by the corner segment of the Itchen and Chapel. I have to say it was a cracking atmosphere and I know Beddytare always alludes to it and praises its virtues, as he is a regular there. So I shall be buying my season ticket for Block 16 as it's a jolly nice little crowd over there. It will be a safe enough distance away from the Leeds, Millwall and Pompey fans too... Btw anyone else annoyed that Jason Pearce could be signing for Pompey? He could have done a job for us - compared to Seaborne anyway.
fatletiss, Kingsland North is fairly lively. I've been in block 34 for a couple of years, and gives a good view with a cracking atmospere
