quite liked ambrose, Milner is the player he is now because of us, had a lot of time for lomano tresor, but at times was brilliantly bad, griffen was a decent servant as was bowyer however psycotic. the rest were either talented but lazy, or sheit (hade jermaine judas with a passion, tons of places i'd like to stick his 'goldfish bowl')

If Jenas had the passion and work rate of Bowyer he'd have been great. Alas.
Had nothing against Bowyer, gave his all in every game.
Alway's liked Milner from the first time I saw him.
Kluviert had been great, didn't show it here.
Always liked Clarence, just something about him.
Thought Viana had great skill, just didn't seem to fit in.
LuaLua was quick and stong, could have been anything. Great goal celerbration.
Carl Cort didn't do it for me I'm afraid.
Andy Griffin looked good to me, got rid of him too quickly.
Darren Ambrose impressed from his first game, couldn't understand why we let him go.
Afraid I wasn't an admirer of either of the Fayes.
Craig Moore could have done a job I suppose, wasn't given a great deal of time to settle in.

  5. Jermaine Jenas - Good player, wouldn't want him back though. He's one of those players that never reached his potential
    Lee Bowyer - ****
James Milner - Class player, don't blame him for leaving.
Patrick Kluviert - Twat but good player.
    Acuna - Meh.
    Hugo Viana - Over rated
LuaLua(original one) - Some memorable goals, but don't care about him any more
Carl Cort - Lanky version of Shola. Complete ****e.
    Andy Griffin - Meh.
Darren Ambrose - Can't believe how far he's sunk
    Amdy Faye - ****er
    Craig Moore - Who?
    Abdoulaye Faye - lol

Jermaine Jenas - Never fulfilled his potential.

Lee Bowyer - Could of done with him a couple of years earlier, had a canny knack of coming in late into the box and getting on the end of things, his personality of course was somewhat....erm... questionable.

James Milner - A grafter, hard worker and an overall good guy, though his ability was limited i still liked him.

Patrick Kluviert - Too old, too slow and injury prone, a highly overrated player and was glad when he left.

Acuna - Couldn't cut it at a high level

Hugo Viana - Seemed to have something about him when he first came, thought he could become a good player, but things didn't work out and became a average player, a journeyman since he left the club.

LuaLua(original one) Inconsistent, show flashes of class then touches of a Sunday pub player.

Carl Cort - Too injury prone

Andy Griffin - A workmen, gave his all did the job that was required of him, scored that goal against Juventus (which made him a freaking legend at the time) although at times his lack of pace was evident and was never really a good enough RB.

Darren Ambrose - Was ok but nothing special, i think he found his level in the championship

    Amdy Faye - Crap!

Craig Moore - came in when we were short in defensive numbers, did have a occasional good performance but not good enough at PL level

Abdoulaye Faye - People say he was good for us but whenever i saw him he was just as bad as Bramble and Boumsong as times.

Jermaine Jenas- Good player till he got the captainacy when Shearer was out and then got to big for his boots.
Milner- Thought he looked decent at Leeds and improved more at Newcastle, then even more at Villa.
Kluivert- Was past it about 18 months before we signed them, and wanted one last pay out.
Acuna- Good squad player, always like him for some unknown reason.
Viana- Odd good game but came here too young.
Lua-Lua- Too inconsistent, never got a run of game therefore never saw the best of him.
Cort- Excited by this signing but was always injured and when he wasn't he was poor.
Griffin- Good squad player, never got a true run of games, saw Reading play a pre-season friendly at Southampton and they absolutely love him down there.
Ambrose- Never got a fair crack, Souness seemed to have something against him, think it was the gay rumours doing the round at the time.
Amdy Faye- Did well first couple of games, though overall not good enough
Abdoulaye Faye- Didn't put a foot wrong till he handed in a transfer request because we signed Coloccini.
Moore- Past it, waste of time, never liked him or understood why we signed him.

Jenas - could've been so much better if he stuck with us.

Bowyer - at the time probably the worst possible environment for him with some of the other players we had.

Milner - not appreciated as much as he should have been maybe. Cracking goal v Man U.

Kluivert - was actually happy when we signed him as always had a soft spot for Barca. Never happened for him though. Shame.

Viana - left his home country too early. Technically gifted but not up to the PL when we signed him. Scored a couple of decent goals.

LuaLua - Seemed a decent player to have in the squad but was never going to be a regular.

Carl Cort - like everyone else says, injuries did for him. Seemed like a decent enough bloke tho.

Griffin - decent squad player, like Aaron Hughes we should've kept him longer.

Ambrose - Never really done enough to merit a regular place.

    Amdy Faye - Shhhiiiiiiiiittttttttttteeeeeeeeeee

    Moore - decent stop-gap.

Ab. Faye - Better than some of the other central defenders we had at the time.

Grrr - I really hate the criticism of Carl Cort - he was absolute quality until a serious injury happened, just bad luck for us and him! If hadn't had that injury he would have been a legend!

Thoughts on Matty Pattison, James Troisi and Paul Huntington? Promising youngsters that faded away!

All the talk that Parker should be in the Englands team are rubbish. Yes he's doing well at West Ham but I don't think he's international class. Good club player, that's all.
