Im not certain of this but i beleive our allocation is 32,000 so with season ticket holders rightly getting first dibs and probably taking up the option of the second ticket wont that just leave about 2-3000 for Jack army members and general public ?? considering we took 40,000 to wembley last time i can see us at least needing the same again. Im guessing that demand will be just as high ..probably more actually as we have alot of new fans from overseas and people that have started following us since our prem debut, im not complaining about the club in this, it is very difficult to manage such highs and lows of ticket demand, as we saw withour shirt sales (which seems even more crazy as there is a trip to wembley to come and nothing in the club shop to sell) but surely the answer is to bump up our allocation if we sell out early ? Bradford will probably fill their allocation as well, so to me it leaves 20,000 sponsor and corporate tickets to people that probably wont bother to go to a game like Swansea v Bradford !! What are your thoughts on this, will there be many dissapointed fans ? this is out of the clubs hands but i would like to gauge the mood on this, is there any point in being a Jack army member or do we accept this kind of thing will happen now and again, if we were the size of Man utd then i guess there would be alot more un happy fans !!
I was on the Man.City official site this a.m.,and tickets are available. The cheapest being just under £500.00.
Totally agree. There is no right or wrong way. Whatever happens there will be people being upset at lack of tickets. I just wish the league would give a little less to corparate and then there would be enough.
isnt it the norm that for finals they only initially give 25000 to each team with an extra 7000 available later on but due to the fact that the corporate side wont be that bothered with this game that they have given the full 32000 from the start
i thought we had 16000 season ticket holders if that is the case and they all take up the alloted 2 per ticket then that leaves 400 available to jack army members and gen sale
I agree with you. Am a season ticket holder as most of you are. I will be taking up my full allocation, whether this is right or wrong. The other 2 are for Jack army members who go to loads of games home and away, but probably wouldnt get a ticket.
I think the club said for the play off final 70% of season ticket holders took up their allocation so if that still stands then around 10,000 will still be available to non season ticket holders
There are not going to be many tickets over for general sale if any, but if you want to by a ticket right now else where, say for example Ticketmaster, then the going rate is anything from £160 to £900?? What do I think? stuff it, I'll watch it down the pub over a nice Gower Gold. Unless my fairy god father comes to the rescue, I'm writing this one off!...................
I thought you could only buy 2 including your own? I'll be buying my extra one too sorry, it's for my mate who does go when he can but isn't a season ticket holder so I'm using my perk to help him out. I can't imagine every season ticket holder going, and some of those who go won't necessarily buy the extra one. I also think we'll be allocated more as we were for the play off final so I wouldn't start panicking just yet
Hmm..to be honest here i think season ticket holders taking an extra ticket is fair, most season ticket holders know a mate who isnt one and the ticket gets passed onto a proper fan and not some dude who had nothing better to do on a wednesday morning other than cue around the Liberty stadium!! There is perhaps more of a sense of fair play this way than putting out to the general public and the floating fan. I know boys who are season ticket holders and i know their intention is to get the extra ticket to make sure their mates who miss out on the big prem games can be ensured of wembley and a big day in the clubs History.

Who gets the other almost third of the stadium ? It's outrageous that these tickets go elsewhere! We could have a stadium with thousands of empty seats simply because corporates don't see this as sexy clubs so won't bother to turn up, meanwhile thousands from both clubs will miss out. For me I won't be going as I refuse to go to cup games where it costs more to go to than league games!
Thats an extra seat available then Jager .. Respect for your stance though, i missed the play-off final due to work commitments, managed to dive into the pub and watch it over here which was ok all things considered, getting the phone calls afterwards from boys at the ground did make me emotional and feel a bit gutted though. I did vow that my company would have to manage without me for a few days if there was ever a clash in the future..this is the time !! its gonna cost me about a grand(flights, hotels ,pissup in london, burger in wembley! etc) but fc~k it i aint missing another big day !!
Chances are I won't get a ticket, but hey ho. Think it's unfair that ST holders can get two, would be better they recieved their seat and the rest was a free for all. Coke in the pub for me it is.
I went for the play off final, but haven't been to a cup game for years, I won't be going myself as I think it's not right that I go to a final without backing the swans with my presence in any of the games up to then in the competition.
