    Deserved win, pleased.

Good performances from Giacc and Alvarez. Fantastic goal from Alvarez, very good to see.

    Really unsure about Fletcher...

Not Defoe's best game, looked pretty tired, which is expected. Need Wickham back for Swansea. Impressive cameo from DG, not gonna score us many (if any) goals, but like when Jozy when he was here, he puts himself about and gets involved. Fletch doesn't have much of a presence about him and was quite sloppy in possession second half.

PvA was greatly involved and I sense him and Rev will be a key part of our team for rest of the season.

Very good and attacking line-up by Gus, hopefully silencing some of his naysayers.

Also very nice to see Agnew coming on

    Solid performances from everyone else

Two wins away from Wembley. Would love to be back, even if it's just a semi.

The general play as in passing was in contrast to what has been seen from recent games balls were to feet or just in front of players instead of square or a cautious bit behind pass makes all the difference when you have forward thinking players in the team,a great night enjoyed by a vocal following which was once again a credit to the club.

Great result and Poyet has stated that it was our fans that made the difference..

Stu, I am pleased someone else notices how bad our short/medium passing has been.

I have only seen highlights of yesterday so I can't really comment on that game but one of my frustrations in our game is the passing doesn't help us to move the ball forward quickly, it is never played ahead to allow the player to run onto it, it is mostly behind or under their feet.

Last Saturday seemed different, we had at least half a dozen very good moves with defence splitting balls for forwards or wide men to run onto <ok>

It seems obvious to me if you want to hit teams on the break its got to be done quickly and we have not been good or quick enough imo and passing square to almost backwards does not help ,last night the team was an attacking team and played as such with the ball being delivered in front of players which encourages the player also to move forward in movement and also his eyeline is forward not towards his own defence the player does not have to turn and pass he is already going forward with an option at least ,this must help players like aj and alike.
