I can imgine there being some upset peeps tonight, we went in at 2.55 through gates 1-5 and the queue waiting to go in was practically down to the ticket office. Did anyone have any problems with it or did you miss any of the game ?
I missed the first 8 minutes FFS. PS. Doveston, feel free to apologise to me after I told you that there were going to be people on every gate taking our tickets
There was some people near me calling for the game to be delayed because of the amount of people outside. That said, it's their own fault, the club asked people to arrive earlier than normal. There was no problem in getting in for me or the 12 year old I took with me. Is simple enough to use.
Fixed that for you PS. They were there though, where they not? Don't think too hard, Forrest, you'll tire yourself out.
I went in gates 1-5 (though just after 2pm) and had no problem, no queue and through quicker than it would be for someone to rip my ticket. What caused the problem, just idiots than can't put a ticket under a light? Or was it technical issues?
went through gate 1-5 at 2.30 no problem at all. Couple of mates were late in by 5minutes but thought it was a lot easier
Turned up 5 mins earlier than usual to see big queues outside the east stand , got in just before kick off as the entry itself was easy enough not sure why the queues were so big though , didn't see anybody have obvious problems with the new system , quite a few missed the start off the match
no problems. we arrived about 2 50 at turnstiles 20 summat (i think) in the South West corner and walked straight in. what's the fuss about?
i suspect its our professional radio hacks trying to make some 'news' out of nowt! i guarantee the Yorkshire Post wont be headlining it, whilst others will do a feature on the problems that await rugby fans!!!
I was fine getting in but every other turnstile I walked past had enormous queues, apparently the amazing new system means that in some of the scanners you have to wiggle your ticket about for it to accept it.
if thats the case i'm guessing the barcode is printed **** on some cards.i walked in no problems in gates 1-5
I could't believe the size of the queue waiting to get into East stand, must admit I arrived about 5 mins before kick off which I know is late but I thought most people would have been in by then and any queue would have gone down. Saying that they seemed to open a few more turnstiles and got people through fairly quickly and I must be one of the thick ones cos I could not seem to get my card in the right position probably because I was aware of the people behind me and was trying to rush. It was also very dark where the machine was. It is going to take a few weeks before everyone gets used to it.
