    Morning all,

Was at the game last night two things for the forum to debate, 1st Patterson has to start ahead of Glatziel , Patto rang his guts out last night and was my MOM he got stuck in and showed he wants to fight for his place, he was also giving Glatz loads , he wasn't happy with him from what I could hear.
2nd point is The Magic Man Tomlin, is he better off the bench than starting? He seems to me to have the fire in his belly when brought on with 30 mins or so and is like a stick of dynamite, he exploded with that free kick last night and deserves his high praise. Keep that side NH Friday against reading , btw Smithies what a save from Zahore in the last few mins

I’ve had my say on the match night thread- could OS transfer it?

I should also add on the credit side Vaulks did a lot of good work 1st half - and his throws are better than Gunners - but did tire 2nd half. Like to see him pick the ball up and shoot if he gets the chance. The team don’t have enough efforts from distance.

There is no way we keep the same side.

Glatzel out for starters. Easy decision. Hes not up to it.

Peltier and Ralls walk back in if fit.

I said Patterson for Glatziel... Ralls for pack or Vaulks? In my opinion I would swap ralls for pack, so two fellas with plenty of engine in the midfield. Richard's and peltier full backs possibly .

Ralls for Pack. Pelts for Richards.

Richards and Glatzel have to be axed. Ralls IF fit replaces anyone in the middle.

Not really concerned who hes just miles better than Pack Vaulks or Bacuna. But those 3 can do a job. Glatzel cant do his job at all and Jazz is playing poorly.

Nah, got to be a left footed left back. Jazz is a right. A lefty gives better balance. Also Bennett was up against one of the best right wingers in the division in Matt Phillips. He has caused us grief on several occasions and we tried to sign him at least twice.

I addition Jazz had a mare last night. Hardly got forward, conceded the penalty and made a hash of a header which I think resulted in Ken's shot and Smithies' super save. Anyway if the stories about Peltier going AWOL are true Jazz will be needed at right back.

Forgetting Jazz has been out for years so not match sharp just yet, at fault for the penalty yes, but needs to settle in .
    Bennett has been Crap
all season , worried to much about what he looks like and if his hair looks good. Nelson had his back all night! Get him out . Two new full backs? Heard Raphael is looking for a club , better than Fabio, but I'd take him now.

Bennett was the best player on the field in the Swansea game.

Fair point but for total inspiration and commitment and typical old school grit and determination the non footballer Paterson gets my vote as MOM.

Got to love him for his overall enthusiasm and physicality. He must have committed nearly 10 fouls last night but he rarely gets booked as he "consults" the ref with a smile on his face, an accent no one can understand and a look that says"I didna mean it ref. I got there as soon as I could".

He takes his fair share of whacks as well, rarely complains, gets up and gets on with it. He must have played Sunday League at some stage. <yikes>

I think he has only been back to full fitness for a month or so. If he stays fit and is selected up front or just off a front man he will score a few more goals this season.

Hey Ninian Paterson got my vote for MOM against the baggies. My MOM for the game against the Jack's was Morrison. As Hilts replied that Joe Bennett was the best player on the pitch against the JB
