http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...larsson-seal-moves-to-sunderland-2301205.html Westwood and Larsson seal moves to Sunderland Thursday, 23 June 2011 Sunderland have agreed terms with free signings Keiren Westwood and Sebastian Larsson. The out-of-contract former Birmingham City midfielder and the ex-Coventry City goalkeeper will officially join Sunderland at the start of next month. South Korean club Chunnam Dragons have claimed that the striker Ji Dong-won is set to join Sunderland for £2.1m. Whats the £2.1 mill all about? understood it was £ 800,000, has Bruce been outdone again, Id love him in My poker school, anyday.
raising to 2million. 800k up front, and going up to 2m if he makes it in the prem league (what i heard)
Ive heard its still the original 800k, the deal is worth 2.1 because of his wages over the next 3 years
Good deal really because if he makes it then yes we stump up a bit more cash but it will be worth it because we will have a canny player on our hands who will easily be worth more than 2million, if it doesnt then we have only spent £800,000 which is pennies in the Premier League. Definately a low risk purchase but with lots of potential
Heard it was £800k plus add-on's but we had to up our bid to stave off interest from PSV who put in a late bid for him.
£2m's nowt sadly in this day and age. We'll probably make that in interest from S Korea along. Still good business imho. x
