sorry but either el tel and our marv are not up to league 1 standard or they need gt to administer an almighty bollocking to them and any one else who are not earning their corn, i do hope we can perform in front of the cameras at 3.30 next sunday, any more failures to take the many chances that come their way, then i would advocate loaning them and others out or try ebay. i still retain hope that they will come good. if they were cutting the mustard our points would be doubled by now.

all in all a piss poor show up front not helped by an indifferent midfield. er floreat salopia!

well out of eleven games we have failed to score in five of them, but nobody has beat us by more than one goal, so i think that tells its own story, i think our forwards are not up the task and to be honest not up to the standard of football in this league, but on the same token we are not doing a lot wrong either, GT really needs to go into the loan market and get a couple of quality strikers or even buy a couple. Aaron O'Connor Newport County 10 so far,Stuart Fleetwood Luton 9 so far, Tom Pope Port Vale....the list goes on, we really need to get some quality in here. I'm fed up of posters saying we need to get a player to play along side Marvin!!, we need a player to play instead of Marvin!!...if he had put away all his missed chances we would be in the play off position by now!!

Marv has done well so far - causing defenders all kinds of problems which is equally as important as scoring goals provided we've got other players chipping in! Mark Wright's lack of goals have cost us so far this season.

    Tinned Hats,
I think you are too hard on Marvin - he has looked by far the best of a mediocre bunch of strikers this year. But it is the whole team that needs to be chipping in and the midfield have been singularly lacking in goals or even attempts on goal. We also need some pace on the wings so we can stretch defences and get some decent crosses in. GT mentioned players who we tried to get in going to Championship clubs ( I am pretty sure one was Berahino) and, with Gornell and Winnall currently injured, I am very hopeful we can expect someone to come in this week.

i agree we do need to to see the midfield attacking the opponent's goal more often, but the only reason i have a go at Morgan is because most crosses and through balls are directed and channeled at him, and he just wastes so many of these chances, as i have said before it terms of players we only need a couple in and a few tweaks, because we are only ever loosing by the odd goal....but Morgan will still be waisting his chances though who ever comes in, if Morgan could have converted 50% of what he's missed we would be by the play offs now converting our losses into draws and draws into wins...

Now if we had a player that fed off of Morgan's fluff ups then we might be top of the table!

strange as it may seem but Morgans got a very big following on this board and i cant quite understand why...if we signed Wayne Rooney everybody would rather see him play with him than instead of him. In my mind Morgan would do well in the Evo stick league, he's way out of his class here, or what about a Morgan plus cash offer for James Fleetwood from Luton?.......

Morgan is probably the best of a not-to-confident group! Better than Harrold was but still needs to do a lot to his finishing skills in training.

The same Stuart Fleetwood who has never cut it at League One and was hardly a rip roaring success at Hereford. In his last season at this level Fleetwood scored 4 goals in 27 appearances-a total already matched by Morgan.
