Thomas Eisfeld has said that new training methods have started to produce some of the most technically gifted attacking midfielders around at the moment.

Mario Gotze, Mezut Ozil, Marco Reus all in their early twenties, along with Eisfeld are products of the German academies who are now concentrating on the technical, creative side of the game.

    Eisfeld said
For me Gotze is the best of these players at the moment and I'd love us to sign him, but I think Eisfeld could become a really important player at Arsenal in the future. I'm hoping he gets some games in the FA cup.

Yeah i'd really like to see more of him. He has looked sharp in the glimpses i have seen and he seems to score for fun for the U21's/Reserves!

Oh and i'd love to sign Gotze up - Wenger is clearly an admirer and didn't we have an offer rejected for him last year? He'd cost a small fortune though!

I think Dortmund confirmed (and rejected) a bid of £30m. I'm not sure we could go in again any higher and I doubt that Dortmund would want to sell him

    But you never know . . .

I can't see us being willing to spend over £30mill on one player... That has got to be Wengers very upper limit!

I think Cazorla would be the player that Wenger has probably filled that space with now. Although I'd still love to see us go for Gotze, I can't really see it happening, especially with Eisfeld coming through the ranks.

Gotze is out of our reach now, especially as he plays for a club like Dortmund. I think we have more chance with someone like Isco. We have done business with Malaga, so we have a connection there.

Mind you, for all the talent coming through now, Lothar Matthaus wasn't bad either.

Isco would be more of a realistic signing. I think we should add another one there if we get the chance as we've already seen an over reliance on Santi. We can't expect him to carry the midfield for the whole season (lest he starts getting **** from our fans like Ramsey did last season) The one thing we've needed for a few years now is strength in depth through the squad. Isco would be a quality addition, especially as Rosicky is coming towards the end of his career.

I'd love it if we signed Isco - Him, Cazorla and Rosicky rotating in the middle and one of the wings would give us a very skillfull team.

When Fabregas was playing the advanced role Cazorla is he had Nasri or Arshavin playing on one of the wings all the time. I think we have missed this since we have switched to more pacey wing forwards as opposed to wide attacking midfield players. We need balance - i'd play one of walcott/oxocube/gerv at a time, with a cazorla/rosicky type player on the other wing.

Although we have the interesting situation of Podolski who has an excellent finish on him but doesn't seem fully settled in a wide position.

I want more Isco type players - players with skill, good movement and flair as well as an eye for a pass.

For Malaga against Madrid he was quality and apparently he is Malagas most consistent performer this season.

Your forgetting Kroos, I reckon he's better than all 3 of those.

Never understood the hype behind Kroos. He's good, but not in the same bracket as Ozil, Gotze, Reus, maybe even someone like Draxler. He's not as dynamic as those.

He is as good as the other four you mention for me. Has been very good for Bayern this season, and his two performances against Madrid in last season's CL semi-finals was sensational. He can play as a CM as well as an AM. I want to see how Wilshere shapes up against him when we play them in the CL.

I really like isco but real madrid seem to be interested in him aswel, i'd expect eisfeld to break through next season if he keeps performing the way he has been, kroos is another player for germany that plays in the whole behind the striker. In many ways its the player that england have been crying out for in the past 15-20 years.

If I'm right in his earlier bayern seasons he played along side schweinsteiger (sp) as a holding playmaker, like arteta does for you guys. So he's very versatile.

He was good. Not as good as he was against Madrid but he did well. Bayern bossed that game and Chelsea did not create anything in open play, while Kross and Schweinsteiger bossed the midfield. It was their attackers (Robben,Ribery and Gomez) that let them down.

Robben is cack normally anyway, never understood the hype, Gomez can't play football, and i thought Ribery was decent in that game.
