The deal to fleece supporters is coming to an end. Rumour is that (the custodians of) the club re not happy with the way Tam Crook made hay with the glamour trips but weren't prepared to run to the less profitable places like Elfsborg. I can't remember anyone bring happy when they were awarded the the gig. Many considered it a mistake. If the reasons for the contract not getting renewed are as purported then I guess credit is due to the decision makers within the club.
The Thomas Cook prices were extortionate and always had ****ey times (arrive 5 hours before kick off, on the 7am flight the next morning) - it always worked out better winging it on an Easyjet and trying to get a ticket when you get there. And also, the flights only leave from Glasgow.
Yeah, they were part of the original complaints about them. Maybe I could reserve praise to see what they are replaced with. The complete exclusivity was not ideal but I know that it did suit some folk down to the ground.
Of course buying would beyond the realms if possibility but maybe they should charter their own `fans` flights...
