This weekend v Stoke? Right, we are playing absolute garbage football, the only game where we actually deserved to win in the Prem this season is Man Utd @ home but we drew. If Mr Warnock has the same attitude that he has had in the last few games ( & we play the absolute same dross as we have all season), then i can see you winning 2-0. However, if Mr Pulis goes back to basics & starts with the right players playing in the right positions, with our strongest team, then i can see us winning 2-0. Forget our European results, the teams we have played are basically no better than League 1/2 standard, the prem is our bread & butter & we need to start picking up results. Good Luck for the rest of the season.
Read alot of posts from Stoke fans seemingly unhappy with the team and the way Pulis plays them. Would never have guessed there was fan unrest at Stoke unless I read it here. What we'd give to be in a similar position. Going to be a tough game, I'd be happy with a point. 1-1 for me.
Hello mate, we must have a chance the way we played the last game, still it will be tough to get a result at yours though.
I'd be happy with a point at Stoke. The home crowd will be like a 12th man for them. as they tend to go for tall players....what are the chances of leaving One Size up there?
Think the reason GMG why people are on Pulis's back is, we have spent over £70 million & still have players playing out of position, no wing cover, no proper Left Back & basically the same midfield that got us up from the Championship. Performance wise, we have either stagnated or in most peoples eyes, playing worse than when we came up. Personally i feel it is part fans expectations, after 3 1/4 years in the Prem & a FA cup final, they are starting too expect more, but realistically we are a 13-17th Prem team, as long as we survive i will be happy.
the 2 week break came at the wrong time for us as we were playing well and you were struggling, now i would snatch your hand off for a point. We see stoke as our bench mark for this season give anything to be in that position
Tough game for sure, we will have problems with Stoke's aerial threat. But if we can minimise the crosses, corners, and throw-ins into our box, and cope with what does come, we can win - we'll be looking for all 3 points here.
If we can retain possession and play some decent football, we might Rule the Brittania. However, if we try to match like for like as we did against Blackburn, then it will be a point at best. Should be a good atmosphere though, our fans are nearly as noisy as yours, if not louder.

Should be a close game. 1-1. Warnock is a big fan of Walters and I can see him scoring. Mackie will be high in confidence after scoring for Scotland, so I'm backing him for the equaliser.
I'm with Huth on this. Depends which Stoke and which Rangers turn up on the day. So difficult to call, this one. S'pose we should be grateful it's come to this really. Couple of months ago most would have this fixture down as a solid home win for sure.
Stop the wingers and they're very limited and slow going forward. There's really no reason we can't win but a draw would be a decent result.
These international breaks bugger up any flow either team was having ... It's give time to put things right or forget what you did last game. If Stoke play their way and we don't turn up then it could be 4-0 Stoke and calls from this board for new defenders plus a goal keeper as Paddy not great on crosses However if we attack Stoke then we could easily put in a Wolves type performance and come out on top We need to pick up points now and I hope we go for it and if we do then why not get 9 from 9 as full respect to Stoke this is one tough ask
This reminds me of a science experiment in school with a nervous teacher who was mixing the chemicals for the first time; once he lit the Bunsen burner you really didn't know what was going to happen and neither did he. Could be any score within the range of 3-0 home win and 3-0 away win.
As long as we keep trying to play the way we did against Citeh then soon enough we will win games. My fear is that we seem to play well against the better teams that we're expected to lose, but then take our foot off the pedal in the games which are essentially 6 pointers, which we can't afford to do. Hopefully we will get at least a point, but these international breaks have been a bitch so far this season and has made the season so fractured that it's hard to gauge one way or the other.
