Two big games for us tomorrow with Sunderland hosting QPR and Villa playing Reading. Ideallly I suppose two draws would suit us best!On Weds we have Liverpool at Spurs where a couple of dead legs and red cards would not go amiss!Views/Predictions?
I can't see any other result to be honest. Harry will be desperate not to lose so will go defensive and Sunderland can't score.
Was jkust looking at the squads for tonights matches and I know I'm biaised but I was struggling to pick out many pl;ayers I would put into a Saints team. Maybe Sessegnon at Sunderland or QPR's keeper but I'm struggling for others.Makes me even more confident that we can climb away from trouble.
I suppose it is too early to worry about other teams results. If we keep winning, we will be fine. However, I still don't want to drop back into bottom three, so am hoping for a Villa/Reading draw.
Agee. Important for confidence that we stay out of the bottom 3. A draw works in both games. Keeps QPR rooted and us close to Sunderland.
Reading haven't won away from home and Villa have one win, three draws and two losses at home. Villa held Arsenal 0-0 at Villa Park in their last match and previous home game lost 3-2 to United. Whilst Reading haven't managed to beat Wigan or QPR in their last two away games. That's why I'd be surprised if Reading win but anything is possible of course.
I want to know how our back four got such a hard time but Reading's defence has barely been mentioned.
I think our defence were getting slated because most pundits could see we were a good team being let down by errors. Gary Neville said our defence had been set up right by Nigel, but he couldn't be held responsible for individual errors. Some teams are generally poor, but we clearly could have done better.
Hope 'Arry gets off to a bad start. If he's going to be bigging this job up as the 'toughest ever' (like he does everytime he takes over somewhere) then I really want it to take it toll. Also, I don't particulary like Qpr, but now I want to see them epic fail. Saying that, a draw suits us far more tonight.
Sunderland are looking a bit better now, and I think they'll win. Villa v Reading could go either way.
