So back in action at last and a real 6 pointer tomorrow with Wigan at Reading. Reading must be favourites but I have a feeling Wigan could spring a surprise. I suppose a draw would suit us. Elsewhere Villa have a tricky game at Arsenal who hopefully will take out their anger on Villa's shaky defence! QPR have United at home whilst Norwich face Everton. Let's hope tomorrows games go our way so whatever happens on Sunday we still have that gap! COYR!
Hoping we go into Sundays game in a good place with QPR and Aston Villa losing. Wigan/Reading hard to call...can see a Wigan win here as I think Reading may be past their mini-streak of form, though hoping for a draw. I think we have been the hardest team to beat and that will be what tells at the end of the season...those annoying draws will turn out to be extremely valuable.
Yes good point Fran we have all moaned about dropping points but actually we should be seeing them as gains.
I no longer have any faith in Arsenal so wouldn't surprise me if Villa got something there. Just counting the days until QPR are officially relegated now, they aren't going to get out of trouble.
I can see QPR getting something from Man Utd with no pressure on the title race and possibly an eye at keeping his players fit and rested for the up coming Madrid match. I wouldn't be surprised to see Villa getting something from Arsenal too. Not sure how to call Wigan v Reading, think Reading might just edge it.
Well that's not what we want. Wenger will have Arsenal well fired up and QPR shouldn't have enough fire power to trouble United. Fingers crossed!
I'm not so sure. Arsenal seem to have these slumps in form and results a few times a season and it tends to take them 3 or 4 games to snap out of it which is why I think Villa could get something. QPR have lacked fire power all season, but it only takes 1 goal to win a game. I can see QPR narrowly winning, Ã la their Chelsea win but we shall see. I certainly hope that I'm talking out of my arse as usual!
If Arsenal score early it may well turn ugly for Villa. If, however, Arsenal fail to score early the fans will get frustrated and Villa may well win.
Must admit that I'm a bit worried about that one. Villa's defense has holes, but Arsenal's attack has been pretty variable. Conversely, Benteke will almost certainly find opportunities against Arsenal's centrebacks...just a matter of whether he puts all of them into the tenth row, as he did against us.
Few minutes earlier, he got an accidental elbow from Berbatov that has caused his nose to turn unfortunate colours. So he decided to randomly retaliate by giving Bryan Ruiz a stiff-arm to the face with the first chance he had to make a challenge.
