Stoke just took the lead against Arsenal..... 7 minutes... Not that's a surprise... Some half decent games this weekend. Have stuck Man Utd, City, Liverpool and Norwich Draw in my Acca.

If you look at stoke probably we should be playing for similar position in the table. They also usually put in a decent cup showing. Again, we should be doing similar. Arguably we should be in a position to be a bigger pull for players and I reckon our spending power also is more but just look at the difference in the way the club is run. I think all round we need to get a bit smarter from on the pitch right up to the boardroom. Basically Stoke seem to be very planned in what they do. Look at the overall picture, sign who they think will fit in with the team rather than any old player with perceived sell on value. Sometimes their football can be a bit pragmatic to watch but its all about playing your best hand when it counts.

Not the best weekend! For some reason the team I'm sure (in my head) that will drop are Norwich. Still think Bournemouth and Villa are worse than us two, but it's gunna be close. 3 out of the 5 will go.
Bournemouth have the foundations of a surviving team and with a couple of sensible signings come January they should be fine. Villa and us however do look a little... (Insert derogatory word here).
