So who will be going to the friendlies this weekend, starting with Grimsby tonight?

And what are we expecting from the team? Who will be playing? and score predections.

We'll be going to watch Crippled Alice (Pardew's lot) tomorrow night, versus the new sensation -- FC Cincinnati. They've sold 30,000+ tickets, and are expecting an attendance of around 40,000. It's at the Univ. of Cincinnati's (Nippert) stadium. They'll be building a bigger stadium of their own, once they get elevated to the MLS.

The friendlies are always ****. Today's 0-0 sounded no different to the one in 2012. I remember going there to see our amazing new striker Proschwitz. I always do Ferriby, and used to like going to Winterton when we played them too, but I rarely bother with other away friendlies now. Sheffield Wednesday in 2009 was another thoroughly pointless trip. 0-0, no new signings, Ricketts unexpectedly wasn't there and it turned out we'd sold him, and the one trialist we had at the time had his trial cancelled on that day before the game.

I'm going to Ferriby tomorrow as always, but I'm not excited like I should be and always used to be.

I normally do almost all our pre-seasons, but I'm not bothering with any.

I'm only going to the Leicester game if we're protesting.

Protests don't work with the Allams

If anything it seems to make them more dug in.

In respect of the sale I doubt much fans can do will make any difference. Their price and payment position isn't going to change due to protests.

No games for me until they've ****ed off, the membership scheme includes concessions & our name is back in use.

I am open to joining a protest or two though, especially if it's direct & disruptive.

Protests they can ignore don't work, protests taken to them will bother them greatly.

I was happy for them to walk away with our blessing and a healthy profit, now I'll be happier if they end up with nothing.
