for those of you travelling to Priestfield remember to get your tickets in advance it is £5 cheaper than pay on the day.

Also for those of you that have not had the delights of visiting the away scaffolding you might well consider bringing a light water proof jacket, that stand has no roof and is open to the elements. Although the weather forecast is currently 20c and partly sunny, so you should be ok.

Anyone who wants a beer, the Livingstone Arms is generally considered the away pub. Just a very short distance walk from the ground. Never been in there myself so can't tell you what the place is like. They did have a couple of West Ham shirts hanging up in there until our friends from Wall, paid it a recent visit during a preseason friendly...lol - I think the chippy (or there used used to be chip shop) is still near by the pub across the road or some other takeaway. Scally's burgers in the ground are the normal rip off price of about £3.20.

The home pub is the Cricketers of Sturdee Avenue and you will not be allowed in there.

For those driving a lot of Gillingham is permit parking so you will need to find a car park. There is one down the side road off the train station. Free parking is available but you would have to venture into the street parking at the home stand end of the town. Rainham End. Your choice if you do so but you would still need to drive a couple of minutes away from the ground to avoid the permit section.

Train station is at a rough estimate a 10 minute walk to the ground, turn left as you come out of the station and just keep heading immediately straight ahead, before you eventually cross the road to the ground, look to your right across that road (just a minute or two up there) to find the earlier mentioned pub.

Any questions on your travel just let us know on here guys.

Enjoy your day but please leave the three points behind.

    Very kind, thank you.

Will be a very tough day as we are struggling in the league at the moment, I expect a tight game

    Thanks for info brb <ok>

I'm sure you boys will want revenge after earlier in the month so this will be a harder game, Especially if Akinfenwa has sorted his heading out!

MA has not played Bayo alongside Cody yet this season. He needs to hurry up and put that to amends. Bayo's supply only fits Cody's style and visa versa they read one another like a book. Recent performances have been quite decent from the Gills so we may have to wait a bit longer for the duo to take to the pitch together.

I think and hope you will find a completely different Gills side for this game. In the league apart from the Wolves game away, we have deserved to take points at all the other games. We just need to make sure we bolt down the door in the dying minutes of a game, which to date has cost us about three points over two games. The loss to Colchester should have been a draw and the draw against Brentford should have been a win. The game at Swindon was a fair result (draw) and Wolves just massacred us (4-0).

Nah it's his head and his diet he needs to get sorted then he might get his heading sorted out. The worrying thing for the Gills is JET is slowly getting fitter and that spells danger for anyone we play but you do have one advantage injuries to two of our youngsters could disrupt a small squad unless we get urgent replacements. The thought of Kilkenny and Fontaine in the starting line up does not inspire confidence though Fonts might just feel a little better after the Palarse game.

Quite a few people keep on about Akinfenwa's weight and yes although it is not ideal for a player in today's modern game, it generally takes a couple of players to mark him when in the box and at set pieces as well as distracting the keepers attention. Hence three players on Bayo equals a free roll for others. Against Swindon (last game) I saw an improved Bayo regarding pace and turns, never even realised he could run...lol

We've got Harriman from QPR on loan at the moment as replacement right back for injured Matt Fish, he's got pace and quality crosses from down the wing. Certainly one to keep an eye on if you go to the game and I'm sure MA will try to extend his loan.

I think this is a double edged sword game, either way which ever team loses going by our current league positions, that the losing supporters are going to be pretty hacked off. Maybe a draw will appease both. After all our world cup final is next week against Crawley and that is where three points will be expected...long story.
