Was one of the best one's we've had since 2007, when we signed Anderson, Nani, Hargreaves and Tevez. its on par with that in my opinion.

I'd say last summer was more successful - without that you'd still be lumbered with Moyes.

You're right Matth, Anderson, Nani and Hargreaves did indeed turn out to be brilliant signings.

    Cracking window that was.

And you are comparing that to this summers window, when the players you signed played a part in you beating QPR?

Surely you cannot judge until the season is over, your new signings have played less than half a dozen games ffs.
For all you know you could get relegated (you wont, but you get my point).

All three signings ultimately ended up complete flops on the grand scheme of things. Not one got anywhere near to their potential and, at the combined cost, I would expect more than one decent season.

To be absolutely honest, Tevez turned out ****e too.

To be fair, Tevez did exactly what SAF expected - got 15 goals a season for two years. Not a great success, but did what was expected as a third / fourth choice striker, and was an adequate short term replacement for Saha and OGS. He was only on loan, so I wouldn't call him s**te.

Right on the other three tho'. Just gutted Hargreaves' knees went to s**t, as he actually was really good for us in 07/08 and the early part of 08/09.
