For the first time in years i'm genuinely looking forward to this summer, i doubt that we'll be a hive of activity like the past couple of years, but i'd like to think maybe 1/2 marquee signings coming this way, obviously this is dependant on where we finish, and i reckon 8th or 9th is most likely.
Here's how i reckon things will go

Onuoha - permenant signing
Muntari - permenant signing
welbeck - 1 year loan
cb - i reckon we'll go for someone with a bit more experience, a zenden type if you will. personally i think someone like Carlos Marchena would be ideal, someone who knows the game well and can help the defenders around him to replace mensah.
cf - we need a proven goalscorer, someone for gyan to play off. ideally a 20-30 goal per season player, though i imagine this will be a very expensive business.

the only other signings i can see is if we sell the likes of flash or hendo and we need replacements

thoughts? opinions? trampolines?
 
"ideally a 20-30 goal per season player", nowhere there did i say i saw one last season, however the bent one finished with 25 goals last season, and 11 by the time he left this season
 
20 - 30 it doesn't really matter, I wasn't having a go, my point was that they are like rocking horse **** these days and when they do become available they hold a kings ransom.

TBH, with the midfield we have now and with Gyan up front, if we could add another striker capable of banging in 15 - 20 goals a season then we'd be top 6 contenders no problem.

true mate, but everyone seems to be blindsided by the wellbeck debate, imo not a 29 a season goal player, which is what we need

As the op suggests a cb i would have Samba in a flash tall strong good in the air just the ticket.
 
A lot of water to flow under the town bridge, before the summer signings/or not. all newspaper ****e, IMO,
wheeling and dealing, complete with back handers will ensue, who comes or goes irrellevent, long as its good for SAFC.
