What are your ambitions and hopes for this season? Mine is to simply survive, push for mid table and get a few good signings in. ;)

What I want is for us to plug the gaps in our squad, either through loan signings or new players, and to prove that we are a credible team for the second tier of English football.

It's no surprise that many places have us tipped to finish last and to end up relegated. However, we have a good base with McInnes at the helm and I truly believe that we're only a few players off of a mid-table team.

    1) Not to capitulate/be outfought/out-thought by the likes of Peterborough, Barnsley, Palace and others who will likely be at the wrong end of the table with us when we play them and scrapping for points.

    2) For all of the players representing Bristol City to show that they are worthy of their reported salaries of up to £250,000 per year by showing their desire to never be beaten until the final whistle.

    3) To make Ashton Gate a ground that opposing teams wont enjoy coming to, like it used to be.

An end to the tedious football seen at Ashton Gate last season.

A club feeling like it has a bit of life to it rather than stale.

I want to come away from The Gate:-

a). my number one ambition is to watch our players ATTACK THE BALL (just the ball)...

b). to be getting up from my seat at regular intervals during the game because that will mean that we are playing attacking football

c). to come away from AG feeling excited about and wanting to talk about the game (regardless of the result) - sometimes we will get beat no matter how well we play and this will usually mean that the other team were better.

I think that once the team settles down, we will do well, better than many believe in fact...

I want us to be more savvy in the final third of the pitch.

Too often our attacking play is predictable usually a high cross from the wings.

I'd like our players with the ball to have as many attacking options as possible so defenders do not know where the threat will come from.

I'd like us to play the ball through and behind the opposition defence....

......and keep the ball on the ground.

What I want and what is achievable I guess is two different things.

I want to be watching a team who has the heart to fight for every ball. That will play 'smart' football, create chances and put the ball in to the back of the net. I also want some value for money food being served (and not these joke of a food vouchers), you can see why KFC is so busy on a match day.

As we have neither the players or the tactics I will settle for us just avoiding relegation but we should be trying to build on last season and trying to finish mid table. Even though we have improved the squad since last season I dont think it has been improved at a higher rate than other teams that finished around us this is mainly down to other teams getting overseas investment which has brought in money.

The club doesn't control the catering as they outsource this. The caterers are Lindleys and they pay City to sell what they want. Money in the bank as far City are concerned, no effort needed.

So a club I would like to see a club in touch with its community, stopping all the piss take gimmicks [food vouchers etc] which are just shallow marketing ploys and and an end to all the negative football.

In the spirit of this they should be looking to the likes of Clarks Pies in North Street for pies, pasties, and sausage rolls. Clarks are both a local and longstanding part of Bristol life

Contract is signed and City get money up front from Lindleys who stock what they want, job done, money in bank to BCFC. Local does not come into it neither does spirit. The future of Ashton Gate is that well known local comapany err Sainsburys. Ashton Vale facilities in general will almost certainly be run by franchises. That is the way of modern football and the way the club is going.

Is there anything stopping the club from putting that contract out to tender again? Usually these kinds of deals aren't time-restricted so I imagine that they could make Lindleys rebid along with other companies.

If there was evidence to suggest that someone could do a better job that will both make fans eat at the ground and to bring in more money then I can see Bristol City of all teams wanting to go down that route. We've made some big losses over the past few years and one of the big things to do during those times is to put some contracts out to tender.

However, if Bristol City really want to improve they can put their website contract out to tender. All football league websites are a ****ing joke and Bristol has the best web agencies in the country.

My main issue is the mark up on food and drink is a joke but i guess its like anywhere else.
Im not a tea drinker but even i can see hot water and 1 tea bag is not worth £2 and how many hotdogs and buns could you buy from the super market for £4.

I know they are trying to make a profit but it makes u wonder that if they charged less maybe they would sell more.

I also been saying for years that instead of offering all these offers that they know no one will use how about just offering a free city shirt with every season ticket as £400+ for a shirt and seat sounds slightly better rather than a seat and free chips if u buy a £4 hot dog.

Look after the fans and the fans will look after the club i believe in
