As the season draws to a close what are peoples views on the team that has surprised them the most this season. My choice would have to be Man utd i felt that even with the aquisition of RVP that they still didn't have the strength to win the league. Imo their midfield is average at best and with the amount of time Vidic spent on the sidelines i thought they would struggle more at the back. I suppose it could be a case that Man utd were not that good its just that all the other so called big boys were shockingly bad. Anyway what other teams have surprised you this season?

Man Utd showed their class when with 10 men they outplayed Real Madrid, just didn't get the result. So they didn't surprise me as they only lost on goal difference the season before.

QPR surprised me... How could a board be so incompetent to sanction so much for Samba? I am not surprised they got relegated at all, I expected that, but Samba being valued so high is the biggest shock of all this season!

No supprise with UTD, its just all the other teams are equal in skill, so took points off each over while UTD being much better including the midfield took points off everyone.

  5. Man Utd missed out by goal difference and then added RvP, how are they the biggest surprise? The gap to second is a surprise but that is more to do with how **** the others have been.

My vote goes to QPR. After the money they spent and tge quality of names they brought in, who expected them to be relegated? Never mind with three games to go!!!

One of the worst united teams to ever win the title, hang on, don't string me up just yet, HOWEVER, it's the strongest united squad to ever win the title. shows how football has evolved and a testament to how SAF has evolved with it.
