Discuss, were 11 points off top after 5 games, i'd be happy with top 7 finish.

I'd be happy to stay up <ok> we're creating more chances than the teams we play ala last season except this season we are much weaker in the goalscoring dept.

Kuyt, Maxi, Bellamy , and Carroll all shipped out and replaced with Borini.

Bloody hell when you put it like that it looks worse than it sounds, all these players out for 1 then someone ****s up and gets no replacement for carroll, i hope an arse was kicked hard.

I think right now we go one game at a time. Come the end of the season and it will all turn out fine.

We'll be fine, we'll be 6th by the end of the year tbh. We've got a good team who play really good football and can dominate a game even with 10man against 11 and a dodgy ref.

Some players still adapting, some players still fitting into a new system and we'll buy in January if the right players are available.

I'm still positive about BR's reign at Liverpool.

You'd be happy with a top 7 finish?

Rofl, I don't understand why you were better odds than us and Spurs to finish in the top 4.

I don't see you catching us, Spurs or Everton. 8th is where you should aim.

I don't take him serious tbh, he hasn't been here long and he's already being so negative.

I think it depends on who spends what in January or if any of us sell valuable players. I also think everyone's best off looking to judge everyone after 10 games into the season. We've had a very hard start and it will be unfair to say we're going to finish 8th or below when we're 5 games in.

I've got to laugh, ok i'll say it again, i've supported liverpool for 24 years and just because i haven't been hear long and i'm being negative my point means nothing, you need to look in the real world. Were not as good as everyone's making out.

Yeah, there's only 99 points left to play for... too late for us. These 15 points that have just gone are worth more.

Not making any specific aims until after the next three games, as the way I see it we could currently finish anywhere between 5th and 17th

Next 3 games are the true test for us. I'm happy with the football that we're playing but we're in the buisness of getting results, and we just plain and simply don't have the players to put teams away

    Relegated assured mate.

WBA being in the top 4 because they are now, is also assured.

Seriously though, I always had you to finish 8th.

That's not out of hatred, but because I think there's 7 teams better than you.

You don't take enough chances in open play, and getting rid of Carroll was a ridiculous decision. You guys just needed to play more to his strengths, and he could have been the key to you being top 6/7.

with carragher at the back due to rodgers picking him as aggers out for 6 months and playing without a striker cos again rodgers shipped our only 9 out i'd say that we will be struggling to do anything.

    look at it this way:

reina (wouldn't stop a child's shot at his near post)
Johnson (can't defend) carra (past it so badly) skertl (on wrong side) enrique (wouldn't play championship this year)
    Allen Sahin (unfit)
    Gerrard (can't run)
Sterling Suarez (can't shoot til he nutmegs 3 players) downing (dear god)

it seems to me that LFC have a lot of players injured, a lot out of any form and tactics that don't work... add to that the fact that we can neither defend nor score and REALISTICALLY sides that that list could be levelled at... well are favourites for the drop.

    We need to improve radically.....

May I ask where is the money coming from? You didn't have it in the summer and with the Red Sox also draining the FSG coffers do you think you will have money to buy? JUst asking not a wum!

You guys are far from relegation fodder, you've had a tough start against last season's top 3. You should have beat Sunderland and had a bit of a nightmare at WBA. People say look at the table after 10 games, but for you this season it would be wiser to wait a bit longer, maybe 15 games and then assess it. You could be low on confidence at the moment, but once that first win comes who's to say you won't win 3 or 4 on the bounce? You are bound to pick up points in the next 10 games.

Its not coming pure and simple. There's no value in the January market as everyone knows and any target we have will have his price trebled as clubs will know we're desperate. I hear Ba can still be bought for 7 million but he's not a Rodgers type player ie. he scores for fun
