We had x3 the points we have now and we only just scraped it in the end.

    Games 11-20: 5 points
    Games 21-30: 8 points
    Games 31-38: 12 points

So in games 1-20 we got 17 points and in games 21-38 we got 20 points.

IMO to have any hope of survival we need 20 points from the next 10 games.

    Ain't gonna happen IMO

We are already dependant on there being 3 worse sides than us - again. However at the moment we are the second worse side in the division

I'm afraid that, sadly all the people who were saying that our season starts today and such like will be beginning to realsie the reality of our situation.

Caught between anger and sadness as to the gravity of our situation.

Massive management failings all the way down from the top. Mittals nust be furious.

We have just failed to beat at home the weakest side in the division possibly bar Saints who we play next at home, there really is no margin for error now and failure at Stoke followed by failure to win at home again will surely guarantee us going down even at the mid-November point of the season, it would take a Lazarus-style comeback to overcome that sort of position...

Boys - Just been reading through some of your threads.... I know it's no consolation at the moment and am sure I'd be feeling pretty crap if in your boat... But there is still plenty to play for, and remember Wigan last year they had won only a couple of games by 30 odd games played and then went on one hell of a run... Not saying it works every time and wait till then, but still there's only a few points in it all....

imo though I think it's time for Hughes to go, can't see him turning it around from this form....

Good luck for the rest of the season <ok>
