I just saw the scores today and this season really does not make any sense at all ! A team is good this week and poor the next. How Everton beat Man City is beyond me but they played really well and deserved to get something from the game, then this week they draw against Wigan. Chelsea are dropping points all over the place, Liverpool keep dropping points you don't expect them to, Norwich just stopped Bolton's mini revival. There may be a distinct lack of quality this season from most clubs but it is far from a predictable season !!!!
That's why, my Juice crew loving friend, we are still in contention this season Because it does matter about the performance of those teams around us.
Despite what the experts say on this board, it has been harder for all clubs to buy their way to respectability. All teams have a few weaknesses and are missing several players, except perhaps Man City. A few injuries or suspensions, or the ACON and a losing streak is just around the corner.
It is so hit and miss. I'm sure it isn't anywhere so bad in Italy, Spain or Germany with bottom clubs regularly beating or drawing with top clubs etc. It is a great feeling knowing that you genuinely don't know who is going to win a game because form on paper isn't match form in reality.
Not sure I see any inconsistency in my point of view. I keep saying players aren't available. City have only lost 3 and drawn 3 all season, I didn't think the OPs comment was about them being bad. It was more about Everton.
