TOP 5 TEAMS..... 12PTS CLEAR WITH 5 TO PLAY

    NEXT 6 TEAMS ........ 7 POINTS CLEAR

THEN THE BOTTOM HALF, 13 TEAMS ....10 POINTS COVERING THEM

I said right from the off that this is a poor division in terms of real quality teams, and that has been illustrated many times over the course of the season.

Consistency has rewarded Brentford and Wolves, and to a degree Rotherham and Preston, but as for the rest of the 18 teams behind them, they are frankly no better than each other.

Even in the top 6 Peterborough have been inconsistent, Orient are now falling away and lower down Sheff U (and us to a degree) found some form too late for it to be of much use other than avoiding relegation.

Walsall and MK Dons are also too inconsistent to have been a real threat
